A crazy thought

United States

#1 Oct 31, 2010
Why is everyone so concerned about all of the stupid shit at nestle? I have seen so much bs about who is sleeping with whom, who is not doing their job, who is the best team leader, who is the hottest, which line is better, racism, exc. Exc.! Why doesn't anyone post about the things that really matters?(examples: floods, fires, losing loved ones to cancer, hard times in general?) We all work at the same place and see each other more than we do most of our own families! Would it be so hard for all of the lines and everyone on all the lines learn how to combine and be a successful place to work without all of the drama ( gossip, back stabbing, and rumors)? Nestle is successful on its own without our small town factory just imagine how much better our little small town factory could be if we joined together and pushed the limits even more than we are now! That would mean more money for us!!!

I agree with this 100%. Management at my current place of employment shed a very bright light on the companies employees a few years ago. They started out giving each one of us a copy of the employee handbook you were given when you 1st started. They went through each & every word in that book. We were again told our duties & their expectations of us as an employee. We were told any actions found truthful against their handbook we would be held accountable for. Such displinary actions could be anything from a verbal warning up to termination. They were not trying to ignore our personal beliefs, moral or ethics, but bottom line what was in that book was the foundation. If you were subject to something against that book then upon investigation they would do everything to resolve the situation in a timely manner. This also meant slander, gossip & rumors. You were informed that you were also held accountable for anything negative that you posted on myspace (fb wasn't the big thing at the time) or any other open forum which meant topix. They have an IT department & if something was posted about their facility or employees & they could track it back to another employee then their would be consequences accordingly. The closing comments were we are happy to have each & everyone of you employed here. We are here to provide a good to our consumers & our consumers come first. If you feel at anytime you are unhappy working here you always have an option & that is to seek employment elsewhere. The job you do is not irreplaceable, for everyone hired their are a more applications from people waiting to be hired. Should you feel that we or another employee had done you unjust we have an open door policy that allows you to come directly to any management personnel & we will work to resolve the situation. Due to this policy there should be no reason or your option there should never be anything negatively posted that can cause harm to the name of this company. Bottom line people are gonna get their honey were they make their money, people are gonna do things that you feel are morally or ethically wrong, but unless it's against company policy they ate not in the wrong based on their job expectations. I learned from that day forth to go into my job & do what I am paid to do. My job is only my sole source of income, I'm not there to make friends & unless whoever is doing whoever or how many whoever had done is affecting my paycheck it isn't anyone of my business. My personal opinion about someone or someone's personal opinion about me is just that & as long as it doesn't affect my job security or my paycheck the heck with personal opinions. Does that mean I condone things, no it just means that I am not in any position to ever judge, cause I myself am not perfect. Times are too hard, I need my job & what someone chooses to do is all on them not me. You're choices are not ever worth me getting in trouble on my job or losing my job. People just go to work & do what you are paid to do, it's not that hard to walk away from or avoid drama. Most of us spend more time with our co workers than our own families, you don't have to be miserable. Always remember you have an option... You can seek employment elsewhere!!

Yes I will remain having my employment at nestle eventhough their are some dumb asses that get on my nerves. Yes I will keep trying to make a difference. Yes I will keep busting my ass for my family in all of the turmoil. Yea I will keep biting my tonge when I just want to let it Fly. Yes I will restrain myself when I really want to bust someones mouth wide open! Yes I will keep my cool when I REALLY want to rip someone into shreads! Yes I will remain calm and collected because I understand that all of the drama at nestle is due to mostly ignorance and low self esteem! I will remain calm and collected because my whole family depends on me and my cool and collectivness.

Bunch of lies, Nestle judges and fire innocent people every day. You go to HR to resolve a problem that someone else caused, you are the one that ends up getting fired.

They have a bunch of favorites that can get by with anything. It don't matter how hard working or honest you are, if one of the favorites get mad at you for some reason you are gone.

I've seen it year in year out. Some years as many 100+ people a month. No one has that kind of turn over without something being wrong. So get your butt out of HR and find a job some where else. Because you are the one not doing your job.

Have not done any searches on Google here lately have you? Lot of negative things about Nestle, from baby killers to child slavery.

I don't work at Nestle now nor have I ever worked at Nestle. I'm sorry about the working conditions at Nestle, but you don't know me to even suggest that I'm not the one doing my job. I have a great job with great ppl, great pay, great hours & very fair management. I'm at my job to do the job I was hired for, what other ppl do does not concern me so I don't worry about it, gossip about or let anything about it affect me. I will remain the see no, speak no, hear no until it affects my paycheck and i don't ever see that ever happening. Favorites are in every workplace is it right? No, but someone being a favorite shouldn't bother you unless it affects you personally as in making you work harder cause the favorite is not pulling their share or your loosing money because of that favorite. If that's the case then you should be able to go to management. You say you can't & if that's the case & your that unhappy then I'll say it again.. You have a choice, you can seek employment elsewhere.

More typical bullshit and crazy accusations without a shred of evidence. There's no way that place has ever cut "100+" people loose in a month. Try five or six whiners like you that won't work or show up on time.

Other words you don't know what you are talking about, you have never worked at Nestle. In this area all the manufacturing plants are the same, they all mistreat employees. Easy for you to say go somewhere else, have you tried looking for a job here lately?

I know for a fact that they cut more than 100 per month. I even had a list of names for awhile. They not only did it for one month but for three or more months in a row.
