the staff are all rude and stuck up. all they do is suck up to the drs. they dont care about patients at all. i cant say ALL are rude, but there is an older red head and blonde who seem to have their heads stuck up their butts at all times. i never see them unless a dr is around. there are a couple really nice and sweet girls though. ill never be back.

Go to the Guerrant Eye Clinic. They are very sweet there.

I've been going there for over 3 years. I think it's a great place, I've never experienced them being rude or anything.

I have been a patient of Dr. Helderman and Jacobs for a very long time. They have always been kind and very welcoming to myself and my son. He has been going there since he was a baby and is now 12. This is one of the best places in town to get eye care.
Please don't get on here and trash them because you had a bad experience. Just find another place to go. What is bad for you, is good for someone else.

Does anyone know anything that is effective for chronic daily headaches? I have seen neurologists, chiropractors, physical therapists, medical doctors, pain specialists and I still have them and have had them for years. They are wearing me down. Any suggestions? Accupuncture is the only procedure I have not tried.

If you've gone through all of that there might not be anything left for you to do. I'm assuming you've had an MRI and a Cat Scan?

I've heard that if you breathe from an oxygen tank when you have a headache it will go away.

Helderman is THE ONLY DR. I will EVER see! I have seen other Dr's in this town & TRUST ME, there is an absolute difference in the other, DR's in this town & Helderman. If you have no REAL eye condition or just want a basic checkup etc.then the other guys are OK. But if there you have any serious issues or potential sight ending conditions then I would suggest ONLY HELDERMAN! I have been going to him for over 27 years, I decided to try one of the new guys about 10 years or so ago, NEVER AGAIN! I do however agree that when you go to any doctor you expect friendly faces ATLEAST...... I cant say that everyone will get the experience I have but I have never had any problems at his office. OHH & to the headache sufferer, Try vitamin B12, One of my former bosses had the same condition & problem. Nobody could help him, he read somewhere to try the vitamin & within a few days they were gone & the last time I spoke with him he said that it had been over a year since he had a headache of anykind. He takes them regularly I guess> IDK.

The staff is great there and he's the only dr that i can call at 3 am. i got metal in my eye and used the number on his business card and he met me there and treated me quickly. i will never see another dr. his staff is always friendly and know what they are doing.

Dr. Wayne Helderman has been my eye doctor for nearly 30 years and I wouldn't even consider going to anyone else. I have come to know him as a friend as well as my dedicated eye doctor. He has always been very warm, caring, funny, professional, and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to my vision. Same goes for his entire staff. He also chose very well when he picked Dr. Jacobs as a partner. I have been told that I can call them 24-7 if I need them. That is almost unheard of in today's world, friends! I trust my vision to Helderman Jacobs - no one else! They're a wonderful bunch of people!

My son scratched the lens of his eye badly enough that it was visible to the naked eye one night. My mother called Dr. Helderman at home and he opened the office at 10 p.m. to take care of my son. I have nothing but good things to say about him and his staff.

I have been a patient for 35 years and truly love Dr. Helderman. I don't personally like Dr. Jacobs, but one visit was all it took. I told them that if Dr. H isn't available, I will wait. In the case of an emergency, Dr. H is always there. He has followed my family and always asks about them and knows their names. I will hate the day that Dr. H retires.
