Dr. Ratliff

Does anyone know if Dr. Ratliff is a good doctor??

Some people say he is good but I have heard horrible things about him and would not even think of going myself. Dr.Chamberlain in Winchester is wonderful, I started going there when Dr.Easthamm quit do to her sickness.

He is a great doctor, delivered our baby and my wife interned under him. We also go to church with him. This came about much later after his birth. I have discovered he is a great man and a great friend. He and his family are there for anyone in need and are great supporters of our church both actively and financially. They donate so much of their time and money. Im proud to know them.

On a second note, he comes from a wonderful family. His parents are great and jim his brother is really cool. He and Jennifer have also raised some very kind, respectful, intelligent, and successful children.

I am glad someone thinks he is great because he told me that I had a miscarriage and that no DNC had to be done because I had bled the baby completely out, come to find out two months down the road I hadn't even had a freakin miscarriage. It was the same baby he told had aborted itself and I know because he told me to wait 3 months before having sex and trying to concive another child, if I didn't there was a greater chance for another miscarriage. So, NO, I absolutely don't think he is a good doctor and I don't recommend anyone to go see him. For him to be in practice for as long as he had he should know a miscarriage when he sees one. He broke my heart that day and he has no idea the pain he caused me, he digusts me. Although I am very thankful he was wrong and I now have a beautiful baby to rid the pain he caused!

Well thank God he didn't send you to have a DNC. Maybe that was God's way of protecting your child. Maybe Dr. Ratliff knew in his heart that a DNC wasn't necessary. He is a great doctor. He may have made a mistake, but don't bash him on here for that. You have a wonderful child and it's healthy and safe!

I went to Dr. Eastham and she was a wonderful doctor. But I wouldn't suggest going to Dr. Ratliff. I heard Dr. Chamberlain in Winchester is a GREAT DR.

Yea Ratliff is a prick and he rushes you, its not really his fault considering the fact that he is the only OBGYN left in MOCO, but still he really should take more time with his patients and not be such an ass,I was going to him for the first cpl months of my pregnancy but the last time i went, i walked out of there crying because they made me think i wasnt even pregnant anymore, so i switched to Doc.Chamberlain and he and his wife Laura are amazing! i would highly reccomend them...they are wonderful!

Honey - hate to break it to you but all doctors have lawsuits against them! That's why we can hardley get any doctors anymore.

That's the truth, insurance it through the roof for doctors. Some of it because of laws past to protent the insurance co's from having to compete and some from the over load they have which leads to a higher count of mishaps not really a higher % of mishaps. In Kentucky the cost to the state and it's people just from the non-legal ability to prescribe natural medications due to big business lobbying but prescription drug manufacturers is staggering. I am not, repeat not a marijuana person but medical marijuana make full and compete sense after seeing the reduced costs of health care in Oregon and Washington State. But hey to be a elected official you don't have to have sense you just have to kiss ass.

Not the good ones! You must like Dr.s Who lie My baby was dead in me and he did my DNC then told me he was putting me on pills for infection and told me I didn't have any infection! You know what Dr. Eastham told me when I told her that? Yeah you did have infection that is why a Dr. puts you on those pills. So you tell me if he is a GOOD DR OR A BAD ONE.

I had Dr. Ratliff. He was the worst dr I have ever been to. When I was pregnant he let me go 2 weeks over my due date, which would have been ok if I was retaining water so bad! I had gained 20lbs of water in one week!!! Then after the delivery I had to have 40 plus stitches because the dumbass didn't know wtf he was doing!! don't waste your time with him.

dr ratiff has been so go to me and my family i grow-up with his kids. his knows what the he-- he doing. u all did not go to med. school its people like just like u do know what the he-- you all are doing.

He's an awful doctor, he may be a good person but an awful doctor! Dr. Chamberlain is the best, they are extremely busy but he still spends time with you and lets you know exactly what is going on. I have heard horror stories about Dr.Ratliff and from what is being said they must be true. Chamberlain Clinic is the best!

he has always sit down and talk with me about my femal things. he deliver my 3 kids and i didnt have to worry about a thing he is a good dr. u must not ask ? or talk with him about what is going on with ur body.
