I am so glad the trial is over with Walker Construction, Roger Harvey and White. Seems Walker dump truck hit the white man and caused a lot of problems, back surgeries, etc., lost everything he had and the jury didn't even see fit to pay his lost wages or back medical bills. There is no chance anymore for a working man or in his case , a past working man. You can tell he is a good man and honest. What is wrong with our system? Does anyone know? I am a friend with someone on the jury. Just don't understand.

I am a great friend of the White family. Everyone is in disbelief about this. I know what a terrible time the son is having. Mercy, he loved his job. Just think he was on his way from signing his divorce papers and dthe wreck happens. Hasn't worked a day since the accident. He lost everything and had to move in with his mother. Let us remember this family and what Walker has done to them.

I'm sure the Walkers will take care of him. They're such good people. Maybe they are going through a hard time right now, and don't have enough money to do what's right. I'm sure Easy is very proud of the way they handled this situation.

Yes, you are right, so I know they will do right with this situation.

They might invite the family over for their super bowl party in their new ($100.000) pool house.

Its not the Jurys fault, it should have never went to trial. Walker should have done whats right and helped this man out! Art Walker is the biggest ass*ole in this County. I remember there was a man who worked in Walkers shop for over 20 years, not sure exactly how long. When Art was younger he was running around the shop and raising hell and the man got him in trouble. Young Art looked at the man and said "if you are still here when i run this place i will fire you" The day Art took control the man had a pink slip in with his check. Real nice ppl if you ask me

Yes, it's true. That really did happen. You better believe one thing. Young Art is not the same type of person as his dad or grandfather. That company has changed alot lately, and will change alot more in the years to come. It's different when you build a business up in a community, than getting one handed to you.

The White guy has some mental problems, but he worked all the time until the accident, I was his neighbor at one time, but didn't know him personally

The Harvey guy that ran into him lied and said he wasn't even in the truck that Walker said he was in. The whole thing just seems very wrong. Police report said the truck was going up to 10MPH and he said he was going the speed of a turtle. How do you hit someone going that slow and just keep going and not know you hit them? Something is very wrong here. Its not about fair, its about who you know.

Now the story about art firing that man is not true It was Bryce that told Mib Schults when he became boss for Mib to get his coat hat and lunch cooler that he would be fired Mib did fired but It was years later over a racial slur that was innocent to him but a real good reason for termination It use to be a get hired If family worked there I would say they miss Hubert and Carl Tipton and most of all Wap Pucket the paving foreman for many years he would have fired every person on the paving crew today for all the shotty work they do I dont know but Buddy must have something on Arthur or he would have been fired years ago my motto Is like the col. you do one thing and you do It right you get to be the very best those boys are a bunch of clowns

Heard they turned down a large settlement offer and decided to go before a jury to get more. Doesn't always work out for the best.

I have never been on this site, but my friend was telling me what was being said. I want to comment. He was offered a settlement, but not a large one, it wouldn't have paid his lost wages and past medical bills and other bills that occurred since his accident. My son is not a greedy person, just believed in the jury system snd thought the right thing would have been done, but guess not. Just like James said in his closing argument, Shane has been broken and can't be fixed, and believe me that is exactly what has happened.
