okay, what would you do if it was your child? and if these so called KIDS were old enough to do a dirty prank like this, then they are old enough to face the consequences. They are old enough to know, but too young to care. I agree with previous post, i think that criminal charges should be pressed against these pissing kids.

I don't think anybody is saying that what they did was ok. And nobody is suggesting that they get off scott free. But people seem to want to crucify these kids, and yes they are still just kids at 12 years old. Children do not have the same impulse control as adults. Their brains don't work the same.
If it were my child that drank it sure I would be furious. For a while. But I wouldn't want their lives ruined becuase of a prank they played, however nasty, as children.

i didnt say there shouldnt be repercussions. I think they have already served a suspension and im sure their parents have handled it in their own way. If it was my child? I'd ground them from all privilages...no TV, no video games, no outside play, no friends allowed over, no going over to friends house...They would have homework to fill the void, and if they complained of boredom, i'd print a ton of math work off the internet. I would also make them write a letter of apology to the child which would explain in great detail why what they did was wrong on both an emotional and physical level and i would take them to deliver that letter to the childs house. I would talk to them, i would explain to them that their behavior was unacceptable, and i would let them know that the punishment they were currently facing isn't nearly as bad as the next one they will receive if anything like that happens again. Thats what i would do. I would handle it as a parent and use it as a teaching tool.

well,ya know,maybe if you would have worte this in the first place instead of making light of the situation and laughing about it first,people may have took you seriously.You're right,to a point.They certainly shouldnt be branded as criminals forever,but they certainly should learn a life lesson from this. It is a totally disgusting thing they did and it hardly ranks with pulling a joke on someone. For the record,I would never jerk someone's pants down.I learned at a very early age how it felt to be made fun of (grew up dirt poor) and wouldnt want to make someone else feel the way I felt when people looked at me and laughed at my expense.Wasnt very fun for me.

I think a lot of the problem is parents not making kids mind to begin with, I bet if you look, these boys have probably been bullys for a long time. I agree with earlier post. If you dont do something with them now, our tax money will be supporting them in prison later. So who were they anyway??? bet they are from families with enough influence to keep it quiet.

i spanked my kids when they were growing up.i'am not saying i beat the hell out of them but a spank on there bottom with my hand when they needed it.but now day's you will get the law called on you in a heart beat for making your child mind. i almost went to jail back in the 90's for spanking my child on the ass for cursing at me.she was 13 at the time and the ppl next door called the law on me for spanking her but.it hurt me more then it did her cause i didnt want to spank her to begin with so i did and i bout went to jail!
