Look, I'm not a mechanic, if I was I'd do it myself. I paid for a service and I didn't get what I paid for. They gave me a receipt that showed everything I was suppose to get for the money I paid. And just because I don't have a PhD in oil changing doesn't mean I don't have any common sense. My only fault is I like to be treated fairly (and a little courtesy doesn't hurt either).
to former customer, did you complain to a manager? if at any time you thought the work was not up to satisfactory,, you should have came to me. and never leave until you check things out.

My boyfriend works back there. Ive never really had a problem with them. they are cheaper than a car dealership & most of them are friendly. I dont really trust some of the guys to drive my car but its gotta be done!

alright, i heard there was a few complaints about the walmart tle. in mt.sterling. first i dont know who is pretending to be the support mgr. but it needs to stop.. i want to clarify a few things. the reason customers waits are so long, is because first come...first serve. it is not the technicians fault cause we cant change a tire that has a missing lug nut, or its not the recommended size tire that your car calls for, if you want to complain call the home office. 1-800-walmart. other wise i will try to make things go smoother and better for all walmart tle customers.

Both of you guys are very short sighted. As a business owner - I would fire both of you for representing your employer on a forum based web page. I wonder if coporate would be interested in this little thread?

i think everyone talks shit because they dont get it when they want it. get over yourself because you didnt get your fluid filled to the rim or because a tire couldnt be fixed due to the FACT it could hurt you to drive with missing studs/lugnuts. NOT EVERYONE is there best 24/7 but neither are you all at your jobs and honestly i doubt many of you have them. they work and go as fast as possible to get you out of there plus it runs up their time as well so lets just think about that. as far as some of the workers listed they like to name people who have been there for a while. if you notice you dont see them alot because they are always hiding when i come in or not there. hmm i give it up to the guys and girls that work late evening that have to put up with the shit you all give. thank you walmart tle. i am and always will be a satisfied customer

Why dont you do it yourself?
Or have a buddy do it for you?
I know how to change oil, and plenty else to do with cars.
If you're not mechanicaly inclined, google how to change oil, and get Castrol oil. Penzoil next best for average cars.
I've worked in a shop, and it is against insurance to let a car go out of the shop doors with it being unsafe (missing lugnuts).
Why would you even complain? Make sure your family is safe right?
Walmart is cheap, but it is a big corp. and i like the personal service of a small shop.
I'm a big fan of city tire for their work, but they are high on prices.
Major Brands is ok, but would rather go to City Tire.

I'm a tech at a walmart tle and we have a lot of happy, loyal customers. There will always be cheap people who complain on purpose for dumb little things just to get free stuff. Cheap bastards!!

I had brake lights blow on my Lincon one time and went to walmart. I buy the bulbs and ask them if they will put them in for me if I pay. They said they would and then came back after about an half hour or so and said they could not find out how to change them.

Well I take the car home and get in there and root around and find two pieces of cardboard covered with rug. Twist and pull out the bulb. Replace bulb twist and turn back in.

I think I must be a really good mechanic, maybe I need to go back to school. They make more than I do, can not change a bulb tho. ;-) Sad don't own the Lincon anymore good car only problem I had out of it was those brake light bulbs. Could not afford the gas now tho, looks like gas is going up to $5.00 gal. before to long.

Hey how much is the starting wage for a mechanic at Walmart. Or is it peace work.
