It just cost 500$ to start the program that takes care of the first month. Then if you have insurance that will cover the medicine at the pharmacy... But if you don't it's like 120.00 for a week script if you get 2 a day. It's so worth it to go to the program. NO telling where I would be today if I had never joined.

I've not personally gone to dr. Shultz, but I know how much suboxone helped me. I've been sober for 3 years now 1 year on suboxone and the other 2 without. If you have the money for Shultz go there, but if not there is a place in Lexington called Lexington medical associates it's 4 miles from exit 113 on I 75, you can find directions online. To get started it cost me right around 300$ it's different than what I've heard about Shultz program you have to go to the clinic over there 4 the first week and get your dose's there. Maybe that place might work for you it helped me, Shultz or that place either one I just wish you luck on getting clean and sober & breaking the horrible cycle. Don't give in, sobriety is worth It.

Hello fro Cleveland oh. There are A LOT of Dr.s here in town, my Dr.( Greogry X. Beohm) is only $150 first visit, then$100/mo after that. I travel to Gatlinburg frequently, an Lex. Ky. Is about 5 1/2 hrs. From here. That still may be a lot cheaper. Also there is a Dr. In Akron who is $75 / month. With Beohm, the pills are around $9 each at CVS. Supposedly the Akron Dr. They are FREE up to 90 pills per month, that would definitely be worth the ride. You really only NEED about 1/2 pill per day. 90 pills would last 6 months, and after that you can decrease your dose weekly. I can make 1 Pill last 8 days after 2 months. I have quit before and all that happens is sleeplessness for about a week. Unfortunately, I relapsed after 6 months, but I'm almost off em again, and don't plan on going back!!!

I have been taking 1 Suboxine a day for about 5 months, half one in the morning and half of one in the late evening, and it has helped me over come my pain pill addiction. Im wanting to call it quits on the Subs now also, Can anyone tell me if I will have withdrawls from the suboxine like you do painpills? And how long might they last?

I hardly had any at all, just about like a mild cold if even that bad, but I worked my way down until I only took 1/4 a day.

It took me about a week of sleeplessness. Similar feelings to a VERY MILD FLU/COld, nowhere near dopesick. Ask your Dr. For ritilan or adderall, the ritilan got me through work and the kids. It also greatly increased my concentration and drive to stay sober those first weeks. Beware relapse, but fortunately for some there are no more oxy' anyways. Good luck stay strong. There is definately a mental aspect as well. I found coin collecting and ebay a great, and profitable distraction.

Go to clinic in Morehead. They have done great for alot of people I know. 400.oo first time, then 350. mo. after that includes counseling, labs.
Place called selfrefind. Look it up on internet, they are so good with people and you get the Dr's card so you can actually call him if you need to.

Why get on here and ask for help?? Call the clinic and they will tell you all about it. Get it from the horses mouth so there's no misunderstanding. Why wait? Where did you get suboxone when you took it before? Sounds like what you really want to do is go to Fl with your money.

YES. Don't go from 8mg a day to 0, though, taper down gradually to 1mg or less before you jump completely off. You'll still have withdrawal symptoms but not nearly as bad as you will going from 8mg all at once. Suboxone is great as a short term (less than 14 days) method but continued use will addict you to it - it's an opioid - and you'll be dependent on yet another drug to detox from.

just one question dipshit!! how much is your addiction costing you per week?? i am certain it is more than $100-200 per week, its more like that much per DAY. you sure don't mind givin the drug dealer all your money but you say it costs to much to get help. have you ever told the drug dealer he charges too much and to cut you a deal? Yeah, that's what i thought!! you either want help and will pay to get it or you don't-bottom line. its your addiction, not mine.

sounds like a good place to me, but remember if you don't live in morehead you have to figure how many times you go per month and add that for gas.

what do they do for follow-up on your care such as drug screens and your prescriptions? you have to monitor patients to make sure they are taking suboxone as they are prescribed. otherwise anyone can go one time for prescription turn around and sell the pills and then never go back. doesnt sound right to me. and a lot of people have to go for treatment longer than 2 weeks.

well, anyone can go one time and get any meds and never go back, regardless...but I think they mean twice a month, if you go for that long. not sure why anyone would when they can virtually detox with 5 total subs over a period of 5-8 days.
