CommonBond Quartet

So I went to hear a local group at Calvary Christian in Winchester a few nights ago call CommonBond Quartet and they were terrible. They sounded like 4 soloist bying for attention on the stage instead of a harmony group. The tenor struggled to hit the high notes, the lead was weak, the baritone was pitchy and the bass was actually a low baritone. They have a cd out and have been on 770am and if I could sing and sang with that bunch I would have been embarassed. The songs they sang were not great choices either. Also, I have a friend (very reliable and is part of there home church) who gave me some interesting info on 2 of there members. The baritone is a thief. While he was manager of Bank 1 he was stealing money. Because of that he had to sell his home and take a job as a medical biller. The bass had an affair with a married woman at his church. His wife has decided to look the other way...I guess. This does not say much for the judge of character of the other 2 members. There home chuch is FCOG in Winchester on Colby Rd which I hear is full of snobs and hippocrits to start with so they should all get along well. Although I cant sing a note or attend this church it sickens me to think I wasted my time to go hear a group that is both musically and morally challenged. Keep up the great work for Christ guys, your reward is waiting.

2. What is the purpose of your posts? Are you a Christian?
3. Home church IS NOT FCOG Winchester, KY.
4. They seem to be scheduling more and more concerts. So someone does like them.

I do not have to check a web site. Kevin Willis is our music director. He has an excellant tenor voice. I see him every Sunday.
Rick Melton helps with the video and sound at our church. I see him every Sunday also.
The group started out at First Church off God in Mt. Sterling as One Bond with Kevin Willis, Rick Melton, Tim Raper, and Rick Hall. After Dr. Hall moved to Virginia this group continued to sing as a trio at variuos functions in and around Montgomery County. Some of the members wanted to expand their travels and Tim Raper bowed out of the group. Kevin and Rick found the new members of the group and the name changed to Common Bond. They continue to book concert after concert by themselves and sometimes as a warm up group for someone else. So I have "stated the facts"

1. Did you pay for this concert?
2. What is the purpose of your desructive posts? I would watch my answer here. There is only ONE judge.

I just noticed. The pictures on the web site are taken in the sanctuary of the First Church of God in Mt. Sterling, KY. And I would like to welcome everyone to our church. We have two services on Sunday, one at 9:00 am and the other at 10:40 am. We would love to have you at our services.

Just trying to figure things out. You base your destructive comments on " a reliable friend" I think that is called gossip. The only real comments (facts) you have stated is that you did not like their sound. And that is fine. I do not like all the groups that I hear. Maybe you need to change your name to "Just My Opinion" because I stated the facts about this group and you stated rumor.

SCR---what I have stated is truth...I have done my own investigation and it is VERY consistant to what I have been told. Keep being fans....I could careless. But I know more than you think.

You lost all crediabilty with me when you started your very first post with all the inaccuracies. But one thing that you have avoided... are you without sin because you HAVE CAST THE FIRST STONE. I know that the 4 members of Common Bond are not without sin, but I also know that the 4 members of Common Bond are forgiven. Oh, by the way, I have never heard them sing, but then none of my comments were on there singing ability. I took notice with the personal attacks on individuals by a person that is possibly/probably a Christian.
