Mt. Sterling Death update

We now know more about how a Mt. Sterling woman died last November. An autopsy showed 34 year-old Kathy Blentlinger died of smoke inhalation in her bedroom of this home at 202 East South Street. via KHQA-TV Quincy

Grew up in Mt.Sterling, graduated in 84. I did not remember Kathy but am familiar with both the Grover and Blentlinger families. Who is Suzy, and what is the story surrounding the fire??

Oh come on DeeDee Roate, you hang out with Neil and Suzy so you know exactly who im talking about! Think about it, their own house burns and she leaves her kids in it, the neighbors house as well...geesh, it doesnt take a brain surgeon to figure it out!

Wrong D.D., my screen name refers to the initals of my first and last name. I honestly do not have any details as to what went on with the house fire/death. I actually reside on the west coast. Furthermore, as I said in my previous post, I am an 84' graduate of BCHS and don't recall a DeeDee Roate and have no idea who Neil or Suzy is!! I am just here to try to keep up with current (past) events of my home town. But I am resigned to the idea of not getting any facts here. Thanks anyway.

Double D , I Thank You For your concern in this case!!! I am Kathy's sister and i am an 85 graduate of BCHS. I looked at my Rambler and I know who you are. This has been the most difficultchallenge our family has ever had to face! Although I do not discuss details of this case, I want you to know that there is an ongoing investigation and my family will never give up until a proper arrest has been made against the person or persons reponsible for this haneous crime!!! Penny, cant some information be given? I know for a fact who is "suspect" in the murder of kathy, I dont understand whats taking this investigation so long. Yes, yes I do...proof, I just pray that an arrest will be made and Kathy can rest in peace. i for one miss her smile, caring ways and that laugh! Hope you are holding up!

whoyafoolin, I'm sorry, but there is still an investigation ongoing. I'm not even sure who you are, but thank you for being concerned. Just don't lose faith that justice will be served, cuz we don't. Have faith and be patient even thought I know how difficult it is to do. We will not stop until a proper arrest has been made against the person or persons responsible!! We Love Kathy and miss her very much !
