LIPA: Just Under 1,500 Remain Without Power in Area

My area of Sound Beach had power restored two days after the storm. My house was hit by a tree which knocked out the power to the house. The wire is hanging from the mast of the house, waiting to be reattached to the main line. LIPA keeps putting off the day they can come and restore the power. We will undoubtedly get "lost in the sauce" because it's only one house. LIPA keeps pushing back the repair date. We are miserable with a hole in the roof and window. We are so discouraged.....
