This is wonderful news. Emererson Electric who owns ClosetMaid is a mini version of General Electric, great company to add to the area.

until u actually work for a company its hard to say whethter they r great or not....emmerson has a habit of buying and disposing of companies as they see fit...thus causing job losses...thye seem to like to find cheap labour at the expense of others...they r xtremely strict and do not hesitate in ridding themselves of labour at any level...my opinion...not so great a company to work for

You take your chances in life. You work hard and hope the company remains, but we are competing in a world economy and nothing is forever. It's great news for the area. This could lead to additional jobs. As the labor market gets back to work, wages will increase because supply of workers become scarce. Congrats to Western Maryland.

Daily Horoscope for December 30

Capricorn

Get together with someone you respect and admire because you'll really enjoy their company. The conversation could soon turn to highly personal areas, yet there won't be any hesitation in talking straight from the heart. At some point you'll be in the mood to think about your New Year resolutions. Maybe you should write them in next year's diary so you can keep referring to them.
