The true Mt Rainier facts are that
1-You have no rights in Mt Rainier, You can't do nothing with out getting hounded even though you pay your county taxes Those stupid little code enforcers who wish they were cops think they can do what ever including coming onto private property. But yet us tax payers pay for them to have a new vehicle to ride around in?!?!?!?
2 - they want to bring all these basketball courts back to Mt Rainier but lets not forget all the drugs and violence that was at the corner of 30th and Arundel back then when they were there before Just because the Mayor lives next to that corner doesn't mean the drugs and voilence will stop.
3 - All the GROUPS of kids running the street and spitting on cars when they drive pass because the drivers ask them to move and running down the street jumping on peoples cars. I guess when they get a job and have to pay for their own things they will care!
4 - All the People that think they are to good to get "REAL" jobs that would rather sell drugs to people, the cops haven't cleaned up Mt Rainier all they did was PUSH them down to what use to be the better part of Mt Rainier Now Arundel and surrounding streets are terrible, with the car thefts and vandelism and assults and robberies.
5 - Wheres the cops when you need them 7 11. You can call all you want and they will say we have to take the call in priority, well wrong they take them when they are finished their 7 11 break or when they are finished helping Brentwood or Hyattsville or PG County... Instead of helping their own City they are worried about helping out in other bigger cities that get all the recongnition.
6 - lets talk about the immigration stuff. ok they help keep the city clean and things like that NO they don't they are very disrespectful to the city By taking a CRAP and whipping with toilet paper and leaving it lay on the corner of 34th and Bunker Hill. How do I know this I seen it and it was nasty but lets help them.... You guys seriously have your answers in the wrong order! The blacks and whites have become the minority compared to the hispanics who you guys feels don't need to learn how to speak or write english or become citizens! As long as you give in to them they will never learn. So instead of helping you are helping create more stupidness.
7 - The city is so tree loving that you can't cut trees even if they are falling onto your house and in your yard and in your driveway when the trees are DEAD! It really makes no sense.
So all I can say is anybody wanting to move into Mt Rainier be prepared for your rights to be violated and your children will really have no place to play because of the drugs and gangs of kids that walk around the town and Trees falling on your property and trash men tearing up your trash cans and before to long a place that people are going to find very heartbroken to know that this is what Mt rainier is becoming. A community that cares about others then they do their own people and I have been a resident here for 30+ years.
