Not aware of the details of this devastating story but....why didn't the local gov't assist this man in bringing his property upt o code or whatever the issue was? Isn't the main purpose of local gov't to assist their neighbors instead of condenming one's property?

I know personally how horrible it is too lose one's home and business when the local corrupt officials allowed a heavy industry nest to ours and it became impossible to live there due to the trmendous and ear-damaging noises, sales and use of meth, pot, cocaine by the employees and vps nest door spilling over onto my property...death and rape threats from them to us...only to have to leave to live elsewhere yet continue tonpay the taxes, insurance and utilities for the past 15 years....And the township pretends it is not their fault...and the industry pretends it never happened!!!!! Drug arrests were made, chemical fumes still continue as do the noises...and everyone looks the other way.

Sad stories everywhere....caused by local gov'ts....
