Are these people nuts all the time or just when I happen to be the customer?

Must just be when you happen to be the customer. I have done business there for years now, great people to me.

You are probably correct. I must remember to stay far, far away from that place since they obviously do not want any new customers and they sure as hell don't want to deal with anyone ordering or picking up JC Penney items!

Obviously you have a computer, why would you waste your time ordering through a vendor whom orders through JC Penny? Ever thought of ordering from them directly. I do all the time. This sounds like the late 1970's.

1. Saves lots of money on shipping costs.

2. There is nobody at home to accept the items during the day and I don't want them left on my doorstep.

3. If they don't want to be a JC Penney vendor, then why are they?

Probably a good idea, if your getting far far away from that place, maybe you can just stop by JC Penney and shop while far away.

Did you ever stop to think they are doing you a favor saving you on the shipping by offering this service?? I am pretty sure it can't be profitable for them, and they do it cause no one else in town wanted to do it!! Guess why, it takes time and resources for which they don't even get enough out of doing this to come out ahead. Just try patience if you decide to go that route again. After all Designs By Lisa is a flower shop. Have a great day!!!

Obviously you work there, you poor soul, but don't you worry, I will never darken their doorway again after my experience. If I had caused them some sort of trouble, I might could have understood their attitudes, but I did nothing to deserve the treatment I received from them. Maybe they were just having a bad day, or a few bad days and didn't like it when I decided that I, as a CUSTOMER, do not have to subject myself to such rudeness, so I had no further contact with them and let the JCP reps do it for me. Again, if they don't want to be bothered with JCP customers, then perhaps they should severe their relationship with them. You have a great day now!

Was the manager or owner there? You have my sympathies if you were waited on by a youngster. No offense to younger generations but "customer service" seems to be a thing of the past.

Oh please, they would not be doing it if it was not profitable. They are the only one in the area doing it and I know of other businesses that have asked to do it and they were refused. Clearly you do not know anything about business. Have you seen some of their floral work? The stuff that has come to our office and what I have seen at a couple of funerals did not look very good. I would say they are more of a JC Penny catalog store than a florist.

Yes, the owner/manager were there and did speak with 2 JCP reps that called. The reps reported to me that 2 separate people at this store were very rude to them on the phone.

Simple solution: Tell at least 20 people you know, they tell 20 people and so on. You get the idea. And...just do not return there. Go to another store. If enough people would do this there would not be rude store owners and employees. There are plenty of other florist in Mt. Pleasant so stop by and visit with them.
