The state's Judicial Merit Selection Commission has refused to disclose e-mails sent to or between its members regarding her controversial case.

Segars-Andrews supporters have been knowingly calling and/or emailing members of the Judicial Merit Selection Commission in an attempt to pressure said members to change their votes in favor of Family Court Judge Segars-Andrews. The Code of Laws of SC 1976, as amended, are clear as to this type of conduct.

The conduct is criminal and the penalty for violating this state law is up to $1,000 in fines and 90 days in jail. Failure of the Commission to release it's emails and phone call records constitutes further violations of state law.

The Segars-Andrews matter is headed for criminal charges being brought against her supporters and herself. These people think they are above the law and can do what ever they will.

*Writ of Mandamus is possible to force criminal charges*

Time to request HALT and Judicial Watch to step in :-)

Judge sentenced to 18 months in November after pleading guilty to lying about secret conversations he had with a lawyer while presiding over a dispute between wealthy lawyers over legal fees.

JACKSON, Miss. Bobby DeLaughter, a former Mississippi prosecutor and judge whose legal conquests became the subject of books and a movie, is set to report to federal prison Monday for lying to the FBI.

DeLaughter was presiding over a lawsuit in which a lawyer sued for a bigger cut of millions in legal fees from asbestos litigation. Prosecutors said DeLaughter ruled in that lawyer's favor in exchange for a promise that he'd be considered for a federal judgeship, with help from that high-powered lawyer's connections.

It was not politics. It was because she had a bad track record of things that were wrong. She was out of order with a swollen head.
