Had lice several different times throught my childrens life time the only thing that works is using a lice killing product and then nit picking for hours. When I say hours I mean hours. I spent at least 7 hours the first day and 4 to 6 hours every day after till I saw nothing. Which usually took 3 to 5 days. I realize noone wants to do that, but I never had to retreat or had it come back. Years later, but not then:) Take the time right away and you won't be taking the time later. Good luck!!

Have you tried X Pel it works great and cheaper than any shampoos I've tried in the past. Here is a great site they sell stuff pretty cheap. Hope this helps

I saw somewhere's online that the black dots on the scalp were actually the lice feces... I have been battling lice in my daughters hair for 2 weeks. Did ovide and picked out eggs for hours, found some eggs here and there within the seven days before retreating. Retreated still found several here and there. Did the mayo/tea tree oil/ vinegar method, and picked out.. Then followed with the ovide the next day and two days later found one lice egg.. At a lose..
