What was the building beside the soccer fields before it was demolished?

Been trying to find some information regarding the area adjacent to the recreation soccer fields on the other side of the railroad. From what I remember the old building used to be owned by Levin furniture? Then it caught on fire or they simply tore them down? Memory is a bit hazy as I've been out of the area in a long time.
Does anyone know what was in the buildings prior to Levin Furniture?
