Where were the Republican protesters during Bush's presidency? He drove the country into the ground, led us into an unjust war, and let corporate elites plunder the public. Yet, the Republicans watched while he did it - and did nothing to stop him. Instead, they blindly followed their ignaramus of a president while he took them and everyone else over the cliff. Obama has done more for the middle class, the poor, and the average American than any Republican president or Congress in the past 40 years. Why don't the Republicans go out and protest the corporations that plundered the public under Bush - oh - I forgot - most Republicans are rich, white, old men who made millions during the "Great Plundering."

Agreed! It's about time people start standing up and speaking their minds about who Obama really is and the poor decisions he is making! Now if everyone would just open their eyes and look at the big picture and see whats really going on then this country might just have a chance. You people want change? I got news for you all you are looking in all the wrong places.

It seems the more the Republicans and Democrats continue this insane infighting, the weaker we make this great nation. Therefore, the more aggressive people who hate this nation become.
Have you noticed the behaviors of the drug cartel just on the other side of the Mexican border? Have you noticed the war games Iran has been conducting? Not to mention we still have al Qaeda that would love to see this great nation fall apart.
Due to the internet, our infighting is being broadcast everywhere around the world. I thought in times of war, we are supposed to stand behind our Commander-in-Chief 100 percent.
Please explain why we are having all this political infighting when we are still at war in Iraq and Afghanistan. Donít you think this behavior is affecting our wars in those nations?

Yea so all you people who think we still have freedom of speech shut up! Don't give msnbc more ammo to use against
the right wing. You not understand that you can't talk bad about Obama with out being
some sort of hillbilly racist. Just sit back shut up let him wear himself out messing everything up and will just have to fix it in 2012!
In Ottumwa, the president will hold a town hall style meeting at Indian Hills Community College -- forcing the school to cancel classes for Tuesday. How much does a day of college cost these days? Close the private flight side of the airport today for 15 hours to accomdate Obama. Fly in a "747" once again a "747" aross the county to talk about economic plans. To tell you were your money is going and how is going to spend it better.

All guess's on Prices here so bare with me.
Day of college =$100
Airport Closed=$10,000
Jet fuel for "747"=$7,000
Obama blowing money to tell us why were broke = Priceless

And dare you to call me racist by saying this, my wife is black!!!

These are my fellow Iowans that I am sooooooooooo ashamed of and disappointed in. They are hypocrites, liars and VERY DISTURBED people!! It makes NO SENSE to not support a leader who is dedicated and determined to make America a better place for us ALL!! These people that are against President Obama are mentally ill. They are racist and they are afflicted with the mental illness called ODD (Oppositional Defiant Disorder). We must make sure that less and less GOP are in our government. They are whores to their corporate whores. They are also selfish and and don't give a damn about people who are down on their luck and need some help. THEN the WORST thing is that they call themselves Christians. True Christians do NOT thumb their noses at those in need and true Patriots work toward the betterment of America - not the ruination of it!! They are a VERY DISTURBED people and I pray for them everyday. They need therapy and guidance to get on the right track and off this dangerous and twisted way of thinking and acting that is causing so much trouble. NOBODY IN THEIR RIGHT MIND OPPOSES REFORM!! Reform makes things better, and making things better is what they are against!! STUPIDITY LIKE I'VE NEVER SEEN BEFORE OR IMAGINED COULD EVER EXIST!! GOD BLESS AMERICA and THANK YOU President Obama for being such an AWESOME leader and working so hard to make America better for us ALL!!

You, sir or ma'am, are a hypocrite.

There probably is racism at play driving the opposition to President Obama, however, terms such as "redneck" and "hillbilly" are ALSO racist / discriminatory words. Please do not use them and be respectful to those who may be from a different socioeconomic background than you.

The best way to get people from different political parties, races, economic backgrounds, etc to listen to one another is for people to practice what they preach, and take their own medicine. Want to get respect? Give it.

So what is so wrong that an Austrailian voicing their opinion?, if you DON'T have an answer to the poster's questions or a reply, one should NOT be a dumb American by dancing a jig when no music is playing or pretending you know some finger magic trick. GROW UP FOOL.

Why must we devolve to namecalling? Where is the civics in politics these days? What ever happened to respectful disagreement? Years ago, when Republicans controlled the Presidency and Congress, many prominent Americans moved to Canada (including a well known descendent of Francis Scott Key.) Now Democrats control the Presidency and Congress, so some people (in the minority) decide to protest some policies. What is wrong so "stupid" about that? Is anyone going to credit these Tea Partiers for having the decency to protest on a different day than President Obama's visit? Or is it just the mere fact that someone out there is thinking for themself, that is so offensive. News Flash for everyone reading this post: the Constitution makes no provisions for political parties, as such by definition, these groups that filter and distort every political issue to their advantage, by definition, are unconstitutional.

LOL!! I think some one is getting a little upsite that Obama was all talk!! You had faith in the man thats good, but dont get mad that you the only one still holding on to that "HOPE" and like the rest of use see we need "change"! Yes Obama is trying had we see that in the millions he is spending. I mean I see you really do care thats sweet =) but stop just stop you can stop caring and thinking that you can change the world and make every one happy and butterflys and rainbow and well all hold hands and sing bible songs. Thats not how it works. You spent $20 dollars to make $40 not the other way around. You see a issues you fix it you dont fly around and talk about. Some body flys a airplane in the twin towers you go to war not help them become free. So please just stop for my kids and for yours just stop!
