This is in regards to the other comment left about this article. I am born and raised in Magee, MS and happen to be quite proud of that fact. You say the white people ride around without harrasment but "black people" in general cannot go anywhere? I firmly disagree with you. I have had black people in my car with me and had an opportunity to have many black people as my friends. we were never harassed and never did they complain about it. This is the SOUTH. Yes, we were backwards in our thinking in my parents day, but things have come a long way. My freshman year of college my roommate stole from me and they told me to get over it because they were not going to press charges. Why, you ask? Because she was black and it would be profiling. Who is the wronged party? Do not ever say you do not have an equal opportunity because this is America. A place where a black man can be president or whatever he chooses to be. If you don't like the south, then move. We aren't begging you to stay.

Oh, and hope Obama's first move as president is you give more funding to the public school system. It's obvious they need it because they didn't even teach you how to spell.

Very interesting comment, one that I very much agree with. It appears the rest of the country has overlooked the fact that he is actually the first bi-racial president elected, that we know of. The african americans also overlook the fact that his mother is white and he was raised by his white grandparents. Where was/is his father and relatives and why did they not include him in their lives?

Opponents once alleged that President Warren Harding's great-grandmother was black, making Harding an octoroon. If this is true, the US elected its first biracial president almost 90 years ago.

Is anyone elses post disappearing?

I have posted several topics only to find out they are gone, or never show up at all.

Does the Moderator have to aprove these posts.

If that is so then we have no more freedom of speech here than waht the moderator wants us to have and his/her views and opinion's are forced upon us in the form of what he/she thinks should be "Let Through". Spin just like the media gives us everyday.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Virgo

You're struggling to get everything finished in time today, making you feel fractious and tired. At some point you may have to take a pragmatic decision about which tasks must be completed today and which will have to be postponed until another day. Do your best to keep things in proportion otherwise you'll waste time in trivial details and needless nit-picking.
