This is in regards to whomever is out there on different blogs leaving hurtful messages about the Steve McNair murder. As his local (Nashville) minister stated, he who has stones to throw, may need to lay them aside, and take a long hard look at yourself before you even consider throwing one??? No one is perfect, It is sad enough for his wife and children to lose him, let alone the way it happened. I hope Mechelle finds the strength to get through this difficult time. God forgives us all no matter what the circumstances are, or the details. Give them time to grive, and find some understanding as to what the next page in their lives will be. GOD is still in control here, so Mechelle let him see you & the boys through all the difficult days ahead.... May his peace be with you & the entire McNair family..we will miss him too.

Did the police check to see if any relatives or friends of the family had a flight out of Nashville the day of this murder or did they just close the books on it?

I cannot believe that this woman did that. The thought is in my head that someone else did and knew what they were doing.

I greatly admired Steve and thought he and the Titans were the greatest thing that ever came to Nashville. He was truely the chief player of the team and it was never the same without him. Although we have had our good times and our bads, Steve was the most insipiring man on the field, and regardless of the pain he was in he always had the glory of a winner in his face ever time he stepped on that field. I know he played games and was incredible amounts of pain, but that showed his faith, determination, and truely the love for his team and what he representee. I love the leadership and the relationship he had with the team and the public. It was as though the minute he walked on the filed, he became a personal friend. He was a true hero and truely adored by everyone. I thank God he is a peace now and he will be greatly missed. There will never be another Steve "Air" McNair, unless one of his sons gows up to follow in his footsteps and that would be a true blessing from God, as was he and as all children. Michelle, my heart goes to you and the boys and all that you have suffered and your loss. I admire and thank you for all the services that you and your family did for the community, as well as Mississippi and the world that he touched. I comend you for standing by him, working with him, and raising your beautiful family. MY prayers and thanks are with you and your family as you suffer this great loss, but appreciate all the good times you had, never forget all the accomplishmentshe achieved and my thoughts are always with you. God Bless You.

I was in my 60's when the Titans came to Nashville, I did not like football at the time. Steve changed that!! I got interested watching him play. Say what you want, he was a good person, who of us has not done something we are sorry for. I am sure if he knew what was going to happen, it would not have happened. Regardless of what people say, he was a very good father, proud of his kids, and he loved his wife, who was his college sweetheart! Was he wrong, yes but God forgives, and so should we. He was a great player who took the Titans to the superbowl, and was co-mvp with The guy for indy. lol. Sorry. to you Peyton fans. But Steve deserved that too. Goodbye Steve McNair and God bless your family

Amen, and who has not done something they are not proud of sometimes. He took his boys fishing all day before he was killed that night! He was a great qb, he took us to the superbowl, and was a probowl qb too. How many have that honor?

I think is very sad that a man would be honoured for adultery. Faithful to everyone but his wife. The night before he died up until he died say's alot about who he was.For the preachers that did not preach the truth to the world , there's alot of blood on your hands.Once ur saved , ur not always saved.James 4:4 say's ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the frienship of the world is enmity with God ? whosoever therfore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. Leviticus 20:10 the adulter and adulteress shall be put to death, there are many scriptures against this crime. Regardless of how good he was , he was unfaithful to God , and his Family. Yes honour him , but not on the same day as his funeral! By doing this your saying it's okay , and your heaven bound. The devil is a liar ...His wife is probally sitting back saying old my God he did it again, honouring him , What about me... Mechelle and the kids ? This is about Status Quote. I am not saying bash him, but preach to the living, dont treat it so lightly . To Mechelle hold your head up high and live for God... And any preach that condone a lie , dont listen, find another church that stands on the word...

It's like having bad credit everyone knew he was also a whoremonger, and the the bible tells us where they go. Yes it's great that he did things for Nashville, but does that make him great...

Is that nice, alone with the trips, and pictures... Is this the conduct of a married man ?

Who's going to carry on what Steve can no longer fulfill in football camps for kids and all the other things he sponsored? Someone needs to do this in his honor and carry on his legacy. No one should let him down and let the legacy go on.

I wanna read the good stories about Steve. All I've read are a few good stories and then the bad. God is the judge of all people, not you people. If you don't have a good thing to say about someone but all negative then you need to take a look at your own life. Judgement will be done by God. Steve was a wonderful person and did so much to help many. His death has saddened and hurt so many hearts. Thank you Steve for all you did. You were a great person. God bless your family and all the fans.
