Is it not time for Jefferson County to come in and to take over the Hill Billies @ Adamsville Police Department. If a physical was performed on all of officers it would leave maybe one to patrol the entire city. The city is growing and I think it's time to take a look at the overall population and safety for longevity of the citizens.

I'm an Adamsville, Al. citizen & have been for 20+ years.
Seems like all the negative comments RE: current officials are coming from illiterates, blacks (which are more racists than whites), etc.
I grew up in the 60'S & the blacks & Martin Luther King were not all innocent.
What about the previous mayor & his staff that actually were crooks & left the city of Adamsville in a $4.4 million defecit & a stack of legal problems; I guess you think they were "Saints"..........
As for you with the negative comments: you want the government ("BIG BROTHER") to support you & if you don't get what you want; then everybody's against you, they've done you wrong, or their racist, crooks, etc.
Why don't you grow up & clean up your act, house, etc.
And if your so concerned; run for Political office.
Or can you not; because you're illiterate, been a guest in our city jail (or elsewhere), etc.
As for Sean in O'Fallon, Mo.; are you a previous resident of Adamsville, Al. & if so when was the last time you visited or are you ticked because you've been a guest in our city jail?

Okay where is all this negativity coming from. I've an Adamsville resident. I have not been here a long as Mimi has but I really like the community. Stop being part to of the problem. I seriously doubt that Adamsville has changed much in the last 27 years. Its still a stupid little town that is corrupted by the idiots that live there. There was a time that Adamsville was a respectful town to live in. I doubt that the town is little more than a pot hole in the middle of the road. I worked there when the city respected its residents, now it seems like the people has lost their respect for the city.

Well Adamsville finally made it on the map.
It's new Mayor or should I say Queen of the old country has repeated history.
The Queen of Adamsville has imposed taxes on the good people of another town.
The Queen ,like her ancester in England from centuries ago has followed the King's footsteps by taxation without representation of any kind .
Yes the poor peopleof Forestdale don't know what hit them.
NO services ,no right to vote for any official of Adamsville,no nothing but taxes to be used in Adamsville only.
I'm waiting on the truck hauling tea from Adamsville to explode mysteriously while passing through Forestdale.
Graysville is next on Queen of Adamsville list of victims.
Latest reports of revenue from Forestdale businesses show a 39% loss ,due to patrons now taking their business out of reach from Queen of Adamsville.
Adamsville has only suffered a 26% loss so far from retailiating Forestdale patrons;but it has not been a long enough time passed to show how much more this will increase.
The Queen is now in the process of collecting all the revenue from the Hillview Fire and Rescue department to pay for her new Lake cabin.
Looks like someone needs to investigate this Royalty of Adamsville for corruption of funds.

It is a shame that the only explanation for misguided actions always revolve around ignorance,fear anger which all breed hate. To be part of the solution is to never be part of the problem. Complaining never changes the situation and remember no-one cares to listen.(Not for less than $100 per hour) I live in Adamsville and have for a few years and am pleased at the way the police and the fire department are. I am proud to say I live hear for it is quite peaceful. Do I agree with an unfair tax? No. Politics on a whole need to be revamped because it seems to no longer for the good of the body of the whole. Change starts within ourselves. We are all intelligent enough to come up with a solution that isn't degrading to someone because of gender,race, or age. I am only telling you what God loves. Since we call ourselves Christians it is now time to be accountable like one. If this angers you, it might be time to check which God we are really serving. So I beseech you to act accordingly. Anthony Brooklere is a racist, feminist and he use his political appointment as a Councilman for his own personal gain. He thinks he is above the law with his actions and narcissistic ways. I am appalled at the way he influences meager lay people to do his "dirty work" to get his way. We must be very careful with our selections to represent the citizens in Adamsville. He harasses the citizens, talk down to the city hall officials and throws his weight around thinking everyone should scurry when he is on a mission to get his way. THIS MUST STOP!!! He should not be voted back into office with this narcissistic attitude and approach utilzed for himself and hilself alone.
We have a voice and it is called "OUR VOTE". Let's think criticallay about our selections the next time and study the candidates, do a background check on their philosophies and impact on our society. Just becaue he owns a pharmacy doe not make him a viable candidate for our city coucil.

Do you have any idea how much time it takes to run the city of Adamsville. Mr Brooklere, along with other city council members, as well as the Adamsville Police ; has improved the city a great deal....including getting rid of crime (drugs), etc...ie
Demolishing old houses where drug people hang out.
If Mr Brooklere is a feminist then he would have more men working at his business.....go check it out!!
He has given jobs to several homeless folks, and has given them money to start up their own business.
Get your facts straight before you insult ANY of the city officials in Adamsville !
