I was just in town to get lunch at Cosci. I waited for a car to pull out of a space in front of the stores, and I then pulled in. I parked in front of the meter -- in the space that was left from the previous car. I checked the meter and put in my quarter.

When I returned to my car 10 minutes later, I noticed the car in back of me had a ticket -- then I noticed that I also had a ticket for $25 - FOR WHAT!!!!! for "Parking in more than one space". The whole row of cars got tickets. This is harassment -- obviously, revenue generating harassment.

I work at Reader's Digest and I will caution all my colleagues that the Town of Mount Kisco Police Department is harassing customers. In this time of recession -- when stores need all the customers they can get -- the Police Department is chasing customers away.

You just lost one paying customer -- I will spend my money elsewhere!

Its not the Police Officers, it's the parking authorities meter maids issueing these bad tickets!
