Food Lion plans store at E-town

Food Lion finally might be ready to pounce on Lancaster County . The supermarket chain apparently intends to anchor a small mall being proposed at Routes 283 and 743.

What we really need is another Turkey Hill or pizza joint. There's still a couple of streets in town that don't have one yet!

I read many years ago that E-town is going to get that mall strip (did not know about Food Lion...as if we need another grocery store) but it did say we were getting a Cracker Barrell and also that there were plans to put an exit/entrance to the Pa turnpike for Etown/Hershey. My husband thinks I dreamed this story up and it has been an going joke for 15+ years but I am sure I read that somewhere. Is there anyone out there who can verify this? What restaurant is coming to the "mall" if is not a Cracker Barrell?
