Seems some people decided to beat a white man to avenge the Zimmerman verdict.

Well if they catch the guys and let them go uncharged, I'll drive to DC and protest. Until then its up to the cops to nab them.
What is there to be outraged about? Oh yea that's right you still don't get what was different about the gz case.

Are you still upset he wasn't arrested that night?

Our constitution has the 6th amendment "right to a speedy trial"
If they charged G.Z. that night with a crime, under Florida statutes they have 175 days to start the trial or Zimmerman walks free. "G.Z. waived this right."
If you arrest a man with little evidence and his lawyer or he decides not to waive this right you as a prosecutor don't have time to build a case. That is why he wasn't charged that night, the state was aware that at that time there wasn't enough evidence, but if enough evidence was found to charge him, yes they would arrest him. But remember if he doesn't waive his right to a speedy trial, you have less than 1/2 year to show a jury enough evidence to convict.
The only reason he was arrested when he was is because of the "no justice no peace crowd" and the political pressure.
Ironically, if new evidence is found, say a surveillance tape or something along those lines guess what? You only get one bite at the apple in murder trials. Since the no justice no peace crowd wanted a trial before there was sufficient evidence you can't try Zimmerman again!

Speedy trial lol I guess only for gz.

Prisons are full of people awaiting trial, you their advocate now?

Casey Anthony, also from Florida, charged with murder 10/08 trial started 5/11. Seems like a bit more than 175 days, hmmm guess you got that one wrong, how strange. Try again

Do you have reading comprehension problems?
"Speedy trial lol I guess only for gz." He waived his right to a speedy trial.

Try again? certainly, once again the defendant waived their right to a speedy trial.
Reading comprehension problems again?

Oh yea totally misread that.

Turns out you had no point at all. He waived his right so why are you bringing it up? People get arrested on less evidence than their word a gun and a dead body everyday.

If the prosecution arrest a person in Florida with little evidence, the defense can demand a speedy trial before the prosecution has it's act together.
It didn't happen in Zimmerman's case but it is something prosecutors are mindful of.
The problem is you are looking at this as some kind of civil rights issue. It is/was a legal matter. They didn't charge G.Z. because they had no case. The prosecutor went right to trial because she knew a grand jury likely wouldn't indict G.Z. with such a flimsy case. The jury found G.Z. not guilty because the state couldn't prove it's case beyond a reasonable doubt.
You are trying like many others to make it a civil rights and/or race issue, it isn't.

I'm not making it anything.

Fact is if the races were reversed the black gunman 99% of the time won't get the benefit of the doubt from the cops. They essentially took his word for it and in 4 hours released him with his weapon.
Also what this case says in the larger picture. Since black people are disproportionately involved in crime any citizen may deem any black person as a "suspect". This gives them the power to follow, question and if things get physical may kill if at anytime they feel threatened. I wouldn't expect you to understand or relate in anyway since this doesn't effect your life. My bet is if people that looked like you were subject to this treatment you would sing a different tune.

That is really a stretch. Going from the G.Z. acquittal to open season for blacks.
Like I have said a hundred times, the evidence for charging G.Z. with a crime just wasn't there. Was Trayvon killed? yes. Did G.Z. kill him yes again.
It was believed by a jury that the killing was self defense. You may not agree. But reasonable doubt played no small part in Zimmerman's acquittal. They have to believe beyond a reasonable doubt that G.Z was guilty they couldn't do it. If I was on that jury neither could I.

I don't think I'm stretching it at all. It's basically what happened and he was found not guilty for it. He had no police powers and was heard by ear witness saying "what you doing around here". Seems cut and dry.

Yes it is open season, you have reinforced tht numerous times in the "Trayvon was a racist thread".

You need examples of black people getting arrested after shooting someone?

Don't you post it everytime it happens?

How about you prove my statement wrong?

Oh- you mean the liberals refusal to accept a verdict where the jury was hand picked by the state prosecutor, and they still couldn't get a conviction? They had their dream jury- 6 women- and they still couldn't prove their case. I live just outside of Sanford and know the truth.

Lol their dream was 6 women? Weren't 4 of them gun owners or gun carriers? Wouldn't their dream jury be 6 black guys between 18-25? I guess we have different concepts on what a "dream jury" would have been on that one.

The jury was handpicked by the defense- this is what they wanted- and they still lost the case. They thought an all-women jury would be squishy liberal and want to hang Zimmerman.

When the truth was known- that dream went out the window.

You lefties won't give up- even with all the odds in your favor- you lost your attempt to persecute Zimmerman
