We all know Obama was the media darling who could do no wrong.
It would seem NBC " The National Barack Channel" is starting to view his schemes in a less then favorable light.
And just how is that 400 million spent on signing people up for Obamacare going?

Shouldn't that all be in quotes since its from the article?

A bill covering hundreds of millions and it effects a percentage of a group of 14 million who buy policies individually. It only effects them if the policy significantly changed since the law was passed. Maybe instead of wasting years on repeals republicans could have made a change to not effect anyone. That would be governing but they're not interested in that. It's just Obamas fault

Obama layed this turd on the American people.

I want to keep my current Health care provider and doctor but I found out today that Obamacare wont accept my employers current plan which is Aetna. To make things worse, my new premiums that cover my family and myself will increase by nearly two grand in just the first year! It's clear we were lied to by the Liar in chief, and we are being forced to purchase something we don't want. F' YOU BARACK! I am praying they stall this thing to at least buy us some time.

Not buying it.

I have Aetna as well. Same plan, same doctor no changes. Only people identified as getting a change is a percentage of individually insured individuals.

All Obama had to do was to consult;"Canada, all of Europe,China,Russia, and a host of other Nations who have "Government"run Socialistic type healthcare system, and these woes would have been greatly reduced....But Obama wants robots to do his dirty work, and they just don't have the "skills"to pull this scam off...Live and learn from your lies I guess....I'm sure those at NBC will not be aloud at the Obama's table of socialist comrads club gatherings against freedom loving Americans ever again....Are you listening Jay?.....

I'm sure half the government actively working to sabotage the law has nothing to do with it.

40 votes for repeal could have been 40 improvements but like a petulant child the republicans took their part of government and went home.

Why wouldn't Obama want it to work. It seems you blame him for every outcome of every topic. Doesn't seem there is anything he could do tht you would agree with. He could cure cancer and oh yea I used that one already.

Despite the small efforts to block such things (as if this is shocking)there are actually a few holes in the implementation to the healthcare law, leaving small openings for some companies to make changes to the coverage they provide to their employees. Right before the implementation even started, some companies took to hiring more people and cutting hours for many to part-time, so they wouldn't have to provide them with insurance, saying they could just get the government one. There WERE some measures taken to try to prevent that... but there's always holes... There other holes that cause similar problems... a lot of which could have been avoided if our political parties weren't so full of it all of the time.

"Getting a change" you mean not keeping their current plan as Obama said they would be able to?

Do you work for a company that provide health insurance as a benefit? You likely have the same police and rates for 2014. We do.

There were a couple of my friends who's coverage was changed recently... They actually have better coverage now, at a slightly better rate too... But I don't think anyone's going to complain about that so it's not really the issue at hand here.

"Likely" I thought Obama said if we liked our coverage we WOULD be able to keep it. He didn't say we LIKELY would be able to keep it did he?

Nope, he didn't say likely. He's a liar and therefore the entire Obamacare health law should be repealed immediately. It was built on false claims and the American people have clearly been deceived. In addition to that, Obama was in such a hurry to force this on everyone that they didn't even make sure the Website (which is the ONLY way to sign up)was working! I have to admit I've been enjoying watching the train wreck so far.

Here's just one example of thousands that are living proof that Barack LIED telling everyone they could keep their current insurance under Obamacare. You need to read this but I'm sure you'll find a way to spin the truth in this too.

That's the whole idea. Get people to pay for insurance they don't want or need. Use the surplus to pay for those who can't afford insurance. Including all those soon to be legal 11 million illegal immigrants.
Rather then somehow just dealing with the uninsured every one is impacted by this.
It is less about insuring the uninsured and more about income redistribution.

So John, you are individually insured AND your insurance company made major changes to your policy since the law was passed?

Blame the republicans. They voted 40 times to repeal and instead they could of had 1 vote to change this than the small percentage of people you claim to be apart of wouldn't have to change coverage. Can you name a law that wasn't added to after it was passed in order to improve it? Other than this one.

I still don't buy your story since you are "enjoying watching the train wreck" with no insurance

It's only insurance you don't want or need until you need it.

You really think we aren't impacted my the uninsured?
I rather hop pay for meds and doctor visits than emergency room fees. We pay no matter what so why not pay the cheaper way while also improving quality of life.

I have a math question about the griffens. They say they pay 770 a month and that policy is getting cancelled and the cheapest they could find was 1275 a month so they are thinking of paying the penalty instead. As stated in the article they will pay 100 or 1% of income. So here's the math part if 100 is 1% then they only make 10000 a year. If that's true how were they affording 770 a month just in healthcare premiums? And how is an income of 10000, well below the poverty line, not qualify for subsidies?

Anacdotal stories with shakey math doesn't seem a basis to take healthcare away from 40 million people.

"Because of the higher cost, the Griffins are considering paying the federal penalty - about $100 or 1 percent of income next year - rather than buying health insurance. They say they are healthy and don't typically run up large health care costs. Dean Griffin said that will be cheaper because it's unlikely they will get past the nearly $13,000 deductible for the coverage to kick in."
$100 OR 1% of income. With a $13,000 deductible they actually could have an annual income of over 1 million dollars.
The so-called "Affordable care act" is anything but affordable for this couple.
The new plan is more expensive and they may have different Dr.'s. Something Obama said wouldn't happen!
Obamacare is all about income redistribution, something Obama believes in.
