Scotch wrote: <quoted text> I know for a fact that an abundance of your players live in Dallas and go to Dallas schools! They are not Stanley residents...far from it! You do not have to live in the city or town that you play for. Every Gaston County Pop Warner team has kids playing for them that live in other cities. The Jags, Raiders, Mtneers, Devils, Hawks, all of them. You do not have to play in the city you live, there is a list that tells which schools are covered under each teams. That is why you have to have a report card.

You people are sad. I know RH and TD and most of the coaches who coached football, basketball, and baseball. I know many of the kids who played on RH's teams and their parents. My son wasn't on either of the teams he coached this year, yet RH spent time helping my son, a newby to the Stanley program (he wasn't recruited, we moved to Stanley 2 years ago and my son chose to play there for convenience's sake, instead of driving to the town we lived in, formerly) and he didn't have any idea when he started the football season who RH was. RH has a genuine desire to see the kids succeed and will go to bat for them in any situation. I have seen RH arrive at the ballfield two hours early to help kids. I've seen him stay after practice to help kids. Say what you want, but the people who are involved in Stanley sports know of his dedication and are appreciative of the time he devotes to helping these kids improve on their skills in each area and succeed in the sports in which they are involved. It was mentioned before that it takes a lot of time to run a successful rec program. Stanley is successful because the Town and the parents of the kids care about it's success. It takes many hours outside of game times and practice times to make the programs work. One person cannot do it all. Parent volunteers make the programs work. The support of the town makes the programs work. Hard-working, dedicated individuals like RH make the programs work. There are other coaches who are equally dedicated to this program. RH is one of many who help bring the success to Stanley rec programs. He is not an island, it takes all of us. He's a great asset to the program, along with all of the other coaches and parents involved.

I haven't heard anything of the sort. The program will go on, with or without RH. Again, he is not an island, though he has been a great asset to the Stanley Rec programs. I know I wouldn't vote him out and it would be Stanley's loss if he were not a part of any of the programs. I don't know how long he's been with the program, but, again, no program is successful based on one person's effort. It takes everyone giving of their time and talents. RH has given 110% of both of his time and talents and I am very grateful for the time he's spent with my son. He was under no obligation to do so, he just loves helping kids.

FYI, I have confirmed that RH has not been booted from the Stanley program and will be involved for 2008. Sorry, to all you RH/Stanley haters out there, but the powerhouse is not crumbling!

A pop warner rule to let coaches go? What do you mean by this?

The last game or two before regular season ended he made an absolute fool of himself (which isn't a surprise because its not the first or even the first few times he has done this) when he argued with Tug about his son being walked. Tug felt he had no choice but to take the head coach position away from RH for the allstar team. Tug did still allow RH to be an assistant, whick wasn't really the case because RH still called every shot of every game. He stayed in the dugout and didn't make any scenes, but he was calling all the shots.

Just keep whining & RH maybe calling the shots from a Belmont dugout or a Belmont Sideline or a Belmont Gym floor then you'll know what you lost.
