Observant and Brainy

Don't know if anyone recognized this or not. Recently, the Gazette reported that Gaston County's school enrollment has DROPPED since 1979 (from 34,000 students to 31,000 students). Here is where I get observant and brainy... if that is the case, why does ever school now have many, many trailers when no such thing existed in 1979? Hmmmm. I bet I know why.
