I looking for a new church to go to and a friend told me about Harvest Time Church of God in Mount Holly. I have heard that it is a great church and was wondering if anyone else has heard the same?

Heard that Harvest Time COG was a spirit filled church also, but please know that this Pastor is on his 3rd Marriage (and he is only in his early 40's). They don't count the 1st marriage because he wasn't a Christian then. Anyway, you need to know this going in. God forgives, Yes, but this Pastor never stepped down to give himself time to heal.
WAS U ONE of his women? Or just mad because you wasn"t?

You've never heard "Go forth and multiply" I don't remember it saying "to the same women".

You should also try Harvest Church on Tuckaseegee Rd in Charlotte. A non-denominational church filled with love.

Have you no shame?? My word, someone was asking about a church. I don't believe this person's intent was to be insulted or have a person that gave an answer to their inquiry insulted. Grow up!!!

The pastor did step down and took much time off while he was grieving. The church went through some tough things but they prayed and stayed close to God. The details of that was rough on the church, but God has had His hand on the them! They are growing and winning people to the Lord. They cleaned up our middle school yard, built a new storage room for football team, and went to the high school and re painted the parking lines.

This church is led by an awesome pastor who has a beautiful family and is hoping to change our city for the better.

The church is not affiliated with the Church of God any longer. They left when the pastor remarried.
Thats not the truth. The Church of God has always stood behind the pastor and his wife. They have a great relationship. The pastor changed the name of the church due to get the stigma of denomination off the property and look to start reaching more of our young people for Jesus.
