My husband and I work in Mount Holly, so we often go out to eat for lunch. In our option Mount Holly has some of the worst restaurants around, but ever since we started going to Knife and Fork it has become our place to go in Mount Holly. They have a great variety in food and the best Italian you can get any where around. We have always been treated wonderful. In going to the knife and fork so much we got to know a lot of the wait staff. Witch in our option are some of the nicest people. We have read some of the reviews on restaurants on here and it seems some people have given untrue reviews.(Maybe other restaurants trying to increase there business) Well if you have not tried Knife and Fork you need to experience it for your self and not listen to the reviews on here (good or bad) I’m betting it will become your favorite spot in Mount Holly. Two customers who can appreciate good food!

Alan Greenspan wrote: <quoted text> Banks are failing on a daily basis, billions of tax dollars are being pumped into financial institutions that seem to have forgotten anything they learned in business school, and loans are being given willy-nilly to future defaulters. With all that going on, it's no surprise that a bank manager would spend his time calling around Gaston County trying to figure out who criticized the food and service at a small MH restaurant that (let's face it) is mediocre at best. Incredible. Alan, that was not a banker who posted that, it was an imposter that posted it....they explained earlier that they bank there. i would guess they are trying to have credibility of some sort. by the way, we have never seen Alan Greenspan in mount holly.....humm, credibility.

Todd Young is not a banker with BB&T? This is news! Re-read my post and you'll see I was referring to Mr. Young's independent investigation of this urgent matter. And Alan Greenspan would laugh at MH's economic decisions. Widening main street to be as narrow as a dirt-bike path... wow. Where's our profit from that investment?

I was glad to see the real banker Mr Young take the time to set it straight. The first one used his banks name and it can cause trouble between a business and the bank if he had not handled it. I think all bankers should care about he small businesses as you put it. I bet the person that let him know about that message took it out on him. I am glad he set it straight.

if this place wants to stay in business they need to hire someone who can cook!!! Stay away from the meatloaf, i had this a few nights ago and got so sick. I only had two bites,i can only imagine what would have happened if i had finished it. As i was sitting there the restaurant was empty now i see why. Ive gotten bad food from there before but this is the first time its made me sick.

Ive had that waitress shes very rude. Had her one morning not to long ago. she never smiled or said anything except when she took our order. She asked what we would like? Thats it. Great customer service skills. Also food is overpriced. Try rita's. Great food and very friendly waitresses.

IM sorry but your food is horrible!!! I don't know why anyone would choose to eat there. Ive given you more than enough chances to get my food right, but its always nasty. Nobody likes cold, undercooked greasy food!! please do us all a favor and close down so maybe a decent restaurant can open up. Mt. holly needs a good restaurant. Im tired of going to belmont or charlotte to eat. I live in mt. holly and i want something close by. And knife and fork isn't it!!!!!!!

Hey this is Kari's coworker I want to give my input. We went there for lunch last week and I got a philly sub and it was nothing but pure grease!! Im way to young to clog my arteries. If I had eaten that sandwich I would have had a stroke. So I will stick with subway.

I have the Super Italian Sub almost at every visit and it is incredibly good. I like subway too, but this isn't Subway. It is a diner with diner food for a price that you can't even get at subway. GO TO SUBWAY and leave us alone already. We do not care about your silly little selves.

I don't think anyone should waste there money at this place. Times are hard and it's awful to spend money on such nasty food. Im just trying to let people know not to go here because their food is horrible point blank. And me and my friend won't go back. We will go to Sammy's or Rita's. So Billy the knife and fork is all yours.
