Did anyone else get a letter this week from the Autumn Woods HOA (Cedar mgmt)? They had the nerve to tell me I needed to pressure wash my house. Let's not mention it's been 100 degrees everyday, with storms. Excuse me, but have they looked around this neighborhood lately? They can't even take care of the entrance. i know of one house that has a car on jack stands in the driveway. Hope they got a letter too.

Point 1- you knew you had a HOA with rules before you moved there.

Point 2 - Does your house need pressure washing?

This is easy.

Geeze, these HOA'S really get on my nerves. I live in South Point Ridge and you should see how dirty some of the houses are. Really sad

The real dirt is usually INSIDE the home.

Sadly alot of people got taken in the real estate boom. The only people who profit are the Realtors and Bankers. Seriously, do you think those houses in Autumn Woods are going to appreciate, they all look the same!

I also live in AW. There are a lot of houses that need pressure washing, among other needs and work and issues. There's always going to be issues in a neighborhood. And if it is a HOA neighborhood that adds to the fire. However if you don't like the rules- MOVE. (or don't buy a house in a HOA neighborhood to begin with).

Didn't get a letter about pressure washing but I got one about having a window air conditioner that they said I had to remove or face a penalty. I have never had a window air conditioner so I e-mailed them about their mistake and they were accomodating. Perhaps they sent you this letter by mistake as well?

I live in Autumn Woods. I worked hard and bought the best house I could afford. I'm proud of it and take good care of it. It's a quiet neighborhood of hard working people with nice kids.

The HOA in South Point Ridge collected $100,000 as of August 30th & the pool is still closed. You'll travel far & wide to find an HOA like this.

Wasn't someone wanting a Skateboard Park, sounds like an unused pool could be the starting point for that!! Two problems solved, time for a break.

I know most of the people on the board and their ideas are great, but there is no follow through. I agree that a lot of people need to power wash and clean up their houses. If you complain that you have to fix something, you are part of the problem. I have assist some of my nieghbors to clean up their home to make the nieghborhood better, so I others should too. The HOA is everyone in the nieghborhood and everyone should assist them to make a better community. If you have an issue, leave and we hope there will be a better nieghbor that moves in.

I'm glad someone finally decided to take down those awful Christmas lights at the entrance. They made our neighborhood look trashy
