Why are Republicans leading the roundtable discussions with school children ?

Are Republicans just using underage drinking as an outlet to spread their Conservative Republican ideologies ?

What Democrat is being advertised by the LDNews as leading the roundtable discussions on underage drinking ?

It sure looks to me that the Republicans are singling themselves and the Republican Party (pushing the Republican agenda) as the leaders in reducing underage drinking in our schools.

I couldn't agree more it is actually very predictable and boring. I recently watched this same political tactic used by Republicans like you. Oh, so the hypocritical Repukes somehow have forgotten that they used this same predictable and boring tactic on President Obama when he wanted to speak to all the school children about staying in school and getting better grades.

Let's think about this, three Republican government paid employee's all three Republicans who jobs possible re-election campaigns or further political aspirations are all tied directly to the local Republican Party and getting young adults to buy into the Republican ideological philosophies is key to their own personal success or failure.

I not the one that wrote in the article that a Republican judge, DA and County Commissioner and I qutote "taking the lead on the discussions"

So Republicans feel free to read this and then have another boring, predictable hypocrticial Republican Day as you do ever other day of the week.

Hmm I thought Tlywalk ran against Mesics as democrat? Him and Kline?

Hey sore loser, AC cant help that the DA is a Rep and the dems could not muster a viable candidate ( once again) maybe they could have newly elected Dem jury commissioner to preside, but oH thats right, maybe he would have brought his camera...

This is one of the most accurate and concise summaries of Lebanon County politics that I've read in a long while. Great response Carl!

Well, what, that's funny, or whatever else you're calling yourself right now, this is a town hall VOLUNTARY to-go-to meeting. It's not kids being held hostage to listen to this. I would much rather these folks speak than Obama. I mean, how would they get his ego & the teleprompter in a normal room around here. We do have some good coke dealers though (direct from NYC!), so I am sure Obama would love to come here. We also have a lot of folks around here on da welfare, people he'd like to keep on the government dole. So, maybe you're right. We need Obama to deliver this speech. When he's done, it's coke & bj's from Larry Sinclair for everyone!!!! God bless Obama.

As a Republican, I am ashamed of my party on this subject. The legal drinking age in Pennsylvania should be 18. President Reagan should have been ridiculed by the public for blackmailing the states into changing their law to 21 just to receive highway funding. I also know for a fact that LVC is not for any crack down on underage drinking as the college was outraged in previous years by the local officers involvement in "busting" underage drinkers on campus. Check out the Amethyst Initiative where very smart University Presidents are in favor of discussing lowering the drinking age.

The old argument, If someone can go fight a war at 18 they should be able to buy a drink legally at 18

Daily Horoscope for November 26

Sagittarius

The mood is considerably lighter as the Moon enters Aries and your fifth house of romance and creativity today; plan to enjoy a good time tonight. Make a play date with your inner child and forget about all your responsibilities for a few hours; you've been working hard and deserve time off for good behaviour. Just remember, no drinking and driving... hire a cab if you plan to go out for the evening.
