The cheat was none too smart. One of the buyers just wrote his license number down. Police went and picked him up. Good police work there Lou.

Happens all over the country.With today's technology,even the tickets for sports and concerts with the official looking hologram can be forged. You take a chance buying from scalpers. Many states have laws against selling tickets for anything above the original price by scalpers but few will enforce those laws. The police look the other way when people stand outside an event openly offering tickets for an inflated price.
