Its only on paper and don't mean a thing, of course you wouldn't know anything about such an issue because you're still saving pop bottles and cans, every penny counts.

You must really think Mr. Downey took this election serious, well when you stop and think he put up four signs in the south end, never made one council appearance except for meet the candidates night and didn't vote himself actually how bad do you think Mr. Downey feels. He didn't have any political parties working for him, his choice didn't have any special groups or gay groups backing him, he just ran on his name in the primary, however did state that if he made it through the primary he would kick it up a notch, now he don't have to do anything and is happy. Another thing no one can ever blame Mr. Downey for the bad turn our city has taken in the past three years. Lock your doors and sit in the dark, thats the days ahead for SCS, like he has said in the past on many occassions this will be called "Highland Shores" before you know it and I'm sure you remember him saying that 8 Mile Rd. and Harper will look like Chalmers & Warren in Detroit in three years, he's not far off on that statement. You can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear SCS is going backwards day by day, mark my words. Just one little instance why hasn't the SCS SGT. be named in the personal robbery in Detroit however the two officers in Detroit was on the news tonight, because out here they are still trying to paint that rosey picture. LOL Have fun!

So what was the point? making the city blow 50K on a useless election. Next time he decides to lose an election again ,make it out of his pocket not the citie. Thanks Jackie for that act of ego sellfishness. Thanks for really putting an exclamation point on “loser”!We are a long way from looking like Chalmers.I think he feels disappointed he didn’t make six. Looks like his ego train is derailed here. I wonder what he’ll tell his loser friends in the coffee shop. Fish stories.

I realize I'm trying to talk to an absolute moron, but just read the crime stats so far this year in SCS compare them to last year, know it all. I'm sure next year there will be a millage asking to hire 50 more cops. You my friend are one of those know it alls that just want to see that sky blue over SCS rather than face the facts. Your main man Ronnie has the right idea lets double the amount in that school of choice, that will build the school coffers and the hell with the residents. By the way I think I congratulated all the candidates proceeding to the General Election in November. There is a few that will not get my vote but I'm only one person if I decide to vote. Being that you brought up about me costing the city $ 50,000.00 thanks I appreciate the opportunity of running a clean campaign, rubber Nuts. lol

The African American knows a good city when they see one, and the blight inspectors are doing a nice job cleaning the city up. They can move here and enjoy the simple things in life as we do.

In order for the city to have avoided having a primary election there could only be 6 or fewer candidates running. This year there were 8. The other waste of time was Odinez who the voters saw as the worst candidate and he finished dead last after Downey. So even if Downey didn't run this year there would still have been a primary because of Odinez being the 7th candidate.

Yes folks it call his Momma doll, she's a real person and all you have to do is hold her by her ears and she does the rest. The only problem is that you have to call her by telephone ot text her and like I said she does the rest, she even cleans you up.

Council finally saw on August 5th council meeting Odinez was running on real issues so they took up his issues with city contractors doing bad work on street construction all over the city. That's a win for Odinez. His problem was he started too late and a lot of residents who voted absentee did not know who he was or what he stood for until it was too late. Council and Chris Rays sandbagged him on his issues with the city because they knew he was running for council

The cops pushed for their cause to go to vote at the primary instead of the general election, ask the city clerk you negative idiots and don't know your facts breeders of personal destruction, the election did not cost anything extra because of the police issue on the ballot anyway

Jenny is right about the primary not costing the city anymore because the police were having their thing anyway. Your the clown for the misinformation.
