Philpot is a constitutional conservative who is going into public service to reduce the size of government. Matheson claims to be a "moderate" in a Republican District votes 93% of the time with Nancy Pelosi's Democrats... that's not moderate. Matheson votes 89% of the time exactly the same as Barney Frank and Charlie Rangel, for heaven sake! If voters figure that out, he's history.

On the Obamacare vote, I have friends that called, and went to his office to plead him to vote against, and he would not confirm his position, or his Secretary would just stack their petitions in a pile. Why? He was waiting for Pelosi to tell him how to vote. They had enough votes with Bart Stupak to pass it, so he was off the hook. He votes with Pelosi 93% of the time, otherwise they let him vote Conservative, to give the appearance, to keep his seat. Let's get rid of this Pelosi Sock Puppet.

I think you are spot on,on this. Called his office the evening before the Healthcare vote and they were still saying he did not know which way he was going to vote. Then there is the story of his brother and the Judgeship. Now ,it is my understanding his brother is qualified,however the timing was really bad. I just lost my trust that the Dems are doing things in the interest of my country. It appears that they are just power crazy 16 year olds in a mall with a no limit credit card.

There is only one man in this race that really believes that the government should stay out of our lives as much as possible, and he is Randall Hinton. When you look at the incumbents record, you will find that he has voted 93% with the Polosi (Democrat) point of view, and is not the conservative that most people are saying. Morgan may be a conservative, but gives the Federal Government more power than they are allowed by the Constitution. Randall, if elected, will not have any political machine to be beholden to, and so his election would make him a much more powerful voice on a Constitutional basis than any of the other candidates.

I agree. Just during this election time he has sent out at least two full color, four page ads to support his being re-elected, stating that he has looked out for saving we the people's money. On the back of each of these brochures is a statement that he makes that shows the exact opposite of what he says. That statement is the the brochures were produced and mailed at tax-payers expense. I consider it a terrible offense to be able to use tax-payer money to help run a campaign. He should be using his own money, not ours. The other candidates don't have that privilege why should he? That is taking unfair advantage of his office, and as far as I am concerned makes Mr. Matheson a liar.
