The dog from the very famous movie the Little Rascals was a pit bull!! did you see that dog eating the children during filming??? The Variety of breeds and mixes that make up the so called pit bulls are for the most part extremely beautiful ,intelligent, and loving creatures.
The only reason you have these incidents on the news in due to poor breeding, abuse and neglect by humans, poor ownership, and media hype.
If you are so sure of these animals being evil,put your money where your mouth is and go and spend a day at the shelters and meet all the pits there and see if none of them tug at your heart with their gentle souls and loving natures.

And how many labs, german shepards, rottis, akitas, great danes, dobermans, etc. bit people during this time? It's not front page news because it's not a pit bull... I own 2 pit bulls who travel to elementary schools and teach kids how to behave around dogs, they've never bit, growled, or hurt anyone and yet you'd have me kill my dogs? Pit Bulls also make great law dogs ( lawdogsusa.org ). Killing pit bulls won't solve anything, making owners responsible for their dogs actions REGARDLESS OF BREED is what will help bite statistics go down.
