County unveils new blueprint for recycling

This will likely not produce enough of an additional recycling stream to solve the landfill problem looming for Frederick County. It is time for the County Commissioners to face the hard fact that an incinerator will still be needed. What are we going to do, wait for the existing landfill to fill up and then what? How about the Commissioners get off the spot they are stuck in and move forward. It is either an incinerator or a new landfill, and if they decide new landfill it only delays the decision of an incinerator for a new BOCC and of course additional costs.
