some of us who can't understand this would like to know why this happened so we can stop it from happening to others.

For anyone who cares this is my MOTHER you are talking about. Its really no ones business why she commited suicide but i really dont mind talking about it! In 2005 my mother broke every bone in he ankel while we were on vacation. Ever since then she had touble walking and went through many surgeries. She also had to have back surgery in 2006 and Neck surgery in 2007. My mother went through pain managment therapy and as bad as she didnt want to, she had to take pain medicine everyday.(no she was not a druggie or anything like that) The doctors told her that taking the pain meds was the only thing that would let her function with the pain. Finally one Doctor in 2011 put her on a nerve pill that was suppose to help rebuild the nerves in her body and was suppose to reduse the pain. Instead, and what we didnt find out until it was to late, was that the new medicine and the pain meds caused her depression to increase. In fact 90% of the people who have taken that medicine have commited suicde. My mother did suffer from depression. Her mother had it and so do I. Infact Most women in the US take antidepression. My mother was always happy. She always had a kind word to say and was quick to smile at any sranger. She was a very Godly woman. We didnt have alot of Money when I was growing up but my mom always found a way to provide for what we needed, and we apprectiated it!! In the end the medicines change the chemicals in her brain and she was not herself. NO ONE really KNOWS why she did it!!! But in all fairness She DESERVED to be at peace with our Heavenly Father! I was raised to believe God takes his children home in his own way And in MY MIND that was Gods way of taking her HOME. Everyone has the right to believe what they want but this is what me and My family believe. Are we okay with this? No. But we CHOOSE to put our faith in God and maybe one day he will call us home to be with her again.

Jessica, I'm so sorry for your loss. As I said she was a beautiful person. I knew her mostly from the bookstore. I shopped there often for my church when I lived in Cleveland. I also knew your grandparents and even sang at a fundraiser when we were trying to raise funds for your Grandfather when he was fighting his canser. Your Mom aways had a smile on her face. I've been gone there since 2007 and I had no idea about her foot or her other struggles. The last time I saw her, my mother and I came in te store. It was when they were getting ready to close for good and i bought lots of goodies but she was just the same Lisa I had always seen. She mentioned she hadnt seen me in a while and we spoke for just a few minutes about what I was doing in life. Dont let people and their negativity get you down Sweetie. your Mom was a great soul and I'm sure she is at rest!

Thank you Mrs. Davis. I thought your name looked familiar but could not think of where I knew it from.

Jessica. I don't care what anyone says.. I loved ur mom more than anything. She was so sweet and good to my family. She helped me through the most difficult time of my life when my parents got divorced. Lisa will always be in my heart! She was a wonderful woman. And I know she is proud of the woman you have become!:)
