After a seven-year run, Back Yard Burgers franchisee Tim Mitchell has closed his Tupelo restaurant.

No it is called corruption to steal from you. There's no need for big box stores and corporations that franchise. It robs from the public thins they can e responsible for them selves,

what we have is dumb consumers willing to accept corruption.

Anon I think you'd be much better suited to living in the bayou swamps or the extreme backwoods in Virginia where everyone is self sufficient, grow their own foods and make their own clothing since life in the metropolis of Tupelo seems to be much for your delicate sensibilities.

Best-Buy, Sears, JC Penny, Office Depot, and Barns and Noble all losing money and closing some stores. This offers an Opportunity to local people to open independent stores that offer customer service and cater to local needs.
It means we can offer goods made in America rather than China. Put your brother back into a responsible economic place. Buy locally made.

Actually, Tupelo is growing. GAP outlet, a new Chico's and Francesca's are both slated to open in the Spring of this year. Sam's Club is renovating. Tupelo may still be a tiny town, but things are finally starting to get interesting.

Retail things made in China does nothing for getting Americans out of poverty. It only takes more of the individual income to pay the sales tax. It also is only poverty level employment.
