Keith named to Artur Davis election committee

Selma City Council member Susan Keith has been named as a member of the Women for Artur Davis 2010 Committee in the congressmana s election bid for governor.

Davis will NOT have my vote.

Congressman Artur Davis who are you working for? Your constituency or your hack cronies? I think it's obvious... there's no way in 4311 that I would support/vote you in for governor.

Strike 1: Voted in favor of Real ID.

Strike 2: Voted to make the Patriot Act permanant.

Strike 3: Voted FOR the bailouts & "stimulus" packages.

This man obviously does NOT have our best interests in mind, if he did he wouldn't have voted the way he did.

Goodbye Congressman Davis, you fail.

I like the way Susan Keith is doing her job as Councilwoman. She supports law enforcement and firefighters, two vital groups to our city's well being. Just because she supports Artur Davis, doesn't make her a bad person.

nemo, I agree that Susan is doing a good job on the council. I've known her for a long time and IMO she is a hard worker and is concerned about Selma. However I will NOT support Artur Davis for a number of reason, one of which is his stand on illegal immigrants over American citizens.

The problem with Keith chairing the Davis election committee IS: Is this the type of person that she feel is good for Alabama,thus Selma....IMO Davis is a racist and supports reperations for blacks and that all whites are antiblack.
I voted for Keith, but you can bet I will help anyone that will run against her in the next election. There are many that feel this way with her BACKING Authur Davis (what an insult to her supporters)

Keith has the right to support whoever she chooses for Gov and I fail to see how that effects her ability to lead at the local level...

I have an issue with someone who wants transparency in local government supporting someone who does not want transparency in the federal government - Artur has YET to sign HR 1207 (the Transparency Act of 2009).

Are my emails, letters, phone calls, petitions, etc... just not reaching you or do you just not care?

You what makes me really wonder. Most of Selma's talk show discussions coming from African Americans consist of automatic support for Artur Davis for Governor. With Artur publically exclaiming his disapproval of this new Healthcare Bill, of which this falls directly into 100% opposition with the Obama supporters (the same one's talking about supporting Davis), this makes no sense.

Whay are they supporting Artur Davis then? I'll give you ONE guess to why they are automatically supporting Davis, as oppsoed to any of the other Democratic candidates for Governor. hahahaha It really makes me laugh!!!
