I like the term "gang-related argument".
Oh well, looks like things are returning to normal in the county.

I cannot understand why people drive their kids around in those golf carts on city streets. Might as well stick them on the back of a motorcycle for all the protection they afford.

I guess showing off how green one is trumps safety.

Identifying the photos would be nice. We are left to guess - the idiot with the tattoos might be Gargas, the other guy Valenzuela

What are people thinking when they tat themselves up like that? I would never hire a visibly tatted out person for a job requiring public contact, and would be very hesitant to hire even for a solo job.

First impressions are important and ink says nothing positive to me

I feel the same way about 'crotch rockets.' Parents let their 4 and 5 year olds ride these things on hilly streets. Oncoming traffic could easily kill these kids. What are the parents thinking?

Geez...is Watsonville going straight down in a handbasket or what?! If this is just the beginning of a new year, we may see more crime than years past. The whole sanctuary city idea is blowing up in the face of the Watsonville city council. Might as well burn the whole town down and start over. This time no sanctuary.

RE: tats, there must be some incentive to do that to one's body, just like the weird piercings, tongue, cheek, nose, genitals, nipples. And... the "tramp stamp". Yuck!~

The incentive? To belong, to think they're cool, to claim look at me I'm a 1 percenter. All of these social identifiers just make them look stupid these days since everyone else has one so they're no longer special or the term I love "Independent". In the end they are nothing more than a bunch of ignorant conformists

I SO hear you and all the other posts like this one. My husband is currently finishing up a six year sentence (I'll spare you the details) but I told him if he comes home with any bad habits or TATTOOS that he can just keep on walking past our house and find another place to live....so gross!!!

Brandy is where he deserves to be...out of his trashed needle ridden trailer and in the pen!! He is just plan scum - has no job or even cares to look for one. Beats his girlfriends when he can get one. Welfare and heroin are his trade marks...literally!! Brandy is not is street name either - just can't remember what it is at this moment! This article just made my day!! Whoop! Whoop!

Save yourself some heart ache, cut your ties with him now. 6 years in the pen will really change somebody and not for the better. Don't waste your time with some dunghole just because he is your husband. He is obviously a criminal, does that make you feel comfortable? I don't want another felon living in Santa Cruz, do you want to be responsible for him?
Get over it...find a non felon to marry.

Enjoy your crap town, people. I got out while the getting was good and so are many businesses now. Leave the place to the gang members and weak hearted scum who defend their way of life. Put up a fence, burn it all down and stat over.

Or start fighting because if you are here reading this, you are one of the citizens LOSING!

Brandy Gargas -- nice tattoos. Might as well have a big "L" on your forehead. Good riddance to ya.

(Doesn't that teardrop mean you've killed someone?)

Tattoos are the fashion now; nice ones w/color. I have 2 myself. But Gargas looks scary.

About the woman who's waiting for her man to get out, been there, done that. It's not worth it. After 13 years of my 'man' being in & out of prison, I finally opened my eyes. He never supported my children nor me, he never worked, stole from me & my kids. He'd clean up until he felt like using again. I finally found me a man to take his place & kicked his lazy butt out. He lost his meal ticket & I ended up having to get a restraining order on him. Now he's homeless & it's sad for my children to see their father that way.
My children turned out fine.
