Though this article is obviously about Farr's reelection campaign efforts, it offer a complete schedule of his upcoming appearance without once using the word "campaign", much less the phrase "campaign stop." Similarly, a nearby article on the census highlighted quotes from the Sentinel's endorsed Senate candidate Luis Alejo. I guess the Sentinel must be doing fine financially, since it can afford to donate all this free print space to its favorite sons.

"On Thursday, he will host a public town hall meeting at 6 p.m. at First Congregational Church, 900 High St., Santa Cruz."

Hmmm... What happened to screaming about "the separation of Church and State? Aren't churches supposed to refrain from endorsing politicians/candidates? Will there be a prayer offered before he speaks? If a GOP guy did this there'd be
hell to pay! Thanks Sentinel, for letting us know the places we need to stay away from in droves!!

He'll probably accept no questions, but if he does someone should ask him why he voted to allow Wall Street to ruin the country. How much was he paid?

Article states that on Saturday Farr will host a citizenship workshop in Watsonville where "eligible applicants can ask questions about their applications or the citizenship process, receive help with their applications, and obtain money orders and photographs."

This is a follow-up of Farr's campaign photo-op for a new citizen gathering at Elkhorn Slough a couple of weeks ago in the Sentinel. I wonder why people suspect the democrats of plotting a major amnesty for illegals in order to enlist more voters for their party.

Back in my days in the original Forum we saw a lot of people like Sam Farr.

They were very good at talking a good line about being for The People, but they were liars to the bone.

They were only interested in using The People to feather their nest and the nests of those who financed them.

I fought against the Farr Out solons who corrupted the Roman republic, but was constantly harassed by them for exposing them.

The Samus Farri of ancient Rome were like the Ferengi. They used their Rules of Acquisition to cause the fall of Rome. Learn about Ferengi Rules of Acquisition here, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rules_of_Acquisi...

Farr and the rest of the modern Ferengi are doing the same thing locally and all over our nation.

Cicero recommends this link for understanding the Farr-engi: http://memory-alpha.org/wiki/Rules_of_Acquisi... It's better than the one in my last Forum speech.

Hey, I'm 2000 years old; sometimes I don't get everything in one speech to my fellow Romans.

So for all of you complaining about Sam Farr and his "campaigning" and his selling out, I have this to say: Since he's averaged 65.9% of the vote in all of his many elections (with a median of 68.4%) he's obviously popular with his electorate. And aren't you the same type of folks who complain about politicians being out of touch with the public? How else should he stay in touch if it isn't actually going to public events and having Q & A sessions? Or would you rather he never appear in public, so that your arguments would appear to then make sense?

He takes his marching orders from Obama. He loves to tax tax tax tax and spend spend spend...hates any kind of business, and loves the hoards of illegals...and anyone who pipes up to object is called a violent bigoted racist.

Its a waste of time to show up at his pre-programmed so-called town meeting. Let the 69% show up and kiss his ring.
