if I ever do something stupid that gets me in jail then so be it, that is my fault. I'm responsible for my actions, I wouldn't go around blaming other people.
Just the other day I saw this mom with her two sons (both in their teen) at the store. The two kids were wearing white sneakers with bright blue shoe laces, they both had blue braided crosses and the oldest had "sur" tattooed on his arm.
It's sad to hear the moms say " I didn't know he was in a gang, he was a good kid" when something stupid happens.
That's just one example of stupid people.
Am I free of sin? Absolutely not, but I try to live a normal life that includes not getting in trouble with the law.
I'm not saying you're stupid, but don't give people the chance.

I have this violin between my thumb and my index finger...

how many is "so many"? I can agree with you that there are a few, and most of these few usually had some involvement in what ever the got accused of. And yes, there are some dirty cop, but nobody in there got snatch from there homes and accuse them of something they didn't do.

And yes there are very few cases where someone is totally innocent and somehow got lock up but this does not constitute "so many".

Why am I going to feel sorry for these people?

You go to jail and the majority you see is ghetto people... kind of what you see in Salinas.

You are not free of sin that is certain, but what is most disturbing is that your lack of humility makes you unaware of the sins you do commit.

All these comments are the outer circle of what the core problems are. It's not the system, although imperfect, it's not the crime, per say, it is as from the beginning, starting in Chapter 3 of Genesis of the Holy Bible. Man disobeyed Gods command to not eat of the fruit of (1) tree, but their lustful eyes and the sweet lure of the devil, satan himself, lured them to eat of that fruit. This is when sin came into our perfect world we were supposed to live in. Now we must each, admit we are sinners as we were born that, and call out to God to forgive us. We will be forgiven by God, but perhaps not by man. This and only this is what matters in this life. Others can go on all day about this or that, but what really matters.... is that we have access to a loving and forgiving Father, Jesus Christ. He will never leave us (EVER)He will keep us. For His word says that mere man can destroy the body, but what is lost is gain in Heaven with Christ. We all have our road to walk, take up the cross and go..

Ahh religion... the most violent and deadly events in history were/are cause on religious beliefs.

Don't get me wrong I'm religious myself, I just know the difference between a religious wacko and a religious conservative.

Bottom line is you don't need to be religious to know right from wrong. For the most part atheists live normal peace lives.

You only practice Christianity because you were probably born into it and raised that way just like vast majority of people practicing thier religion. And everybody thinks their religion is the true religion all because that's what they were told.

Religion is best practiced when kept to yourself and just let people find it if they need it. Remember god loves you and he (or she for some) will never guide you wrong, right?

All you inmate lovers need to step back , you have no idea wtf your talking about...first of all this stupid ass talk about why t the The system thould stop all this racial divide..you know damn well all the gang banging, cell dividing, grouping on the yard, bull shit fights, and racial divide is implemented by the.convicts...the only way around that is to lock everyone up 24 hours a day...second cdcr doesn't sent anyone to prison, they don't make laws. People WE elected did. So if we don't like the laws that got broke and got our family sent to prison change them, don't blame cdcr...stupid...
