This bumfest is a distraction to our police.
Please start hosing these creeps down. Sprinklers set to go off and on all night long from 8pm until 8am!Make them as uncomfortable as possible please!
Our police? Today some disrespectful, moronic Santa Cruz 25 year old cop called my friend, a 61 year old man, "dude'!...Can you believe it? He called him "dude"! A city employee without a single brain cell, not having ANY respect for a law-abiding senior citizen....This is why people are leaving this town; it gets worse every single day...many things go bad and NOTHING goes good.

dont get me wrong i kno there is a lot of BS with all the homeless people camping like doing drugs, or being drunk in public, and we dont want that but there has to be a safe place were homeless people can camp and sleep at night!!! its that simple and I cant believe anyone would say no sleeping or camping from the night till the day....so there supose to sleep in the middle of day and have all the hard working people step all over them as there sleeping and have them rome around all night just walking but no sleeping? How stupid, what kind of crap is this!!! i work and pay taxes and believe everyone should work but I also believe anyone has the right as long as there not drunk or on drugs should be able to sleep when ever they want!!! Serious it would be nice ship them out but no matter were u ship them there would still be a problem so get real!!!

When I was young the cops would take these mutts to the county line and say "Don't Come Back"
I would even pay for the gas.
More Homeless than Home Owners...

Gees, drunk drivers? Society is so hell bent on keeping pot illegal.Yet alcohol is accepted with open arms,it kills people every day in this country. When was the last,or first for that mater, time you heard of some one being killed by a person that was stoned? Most likely that drunk had prior convictions.Pathetic. TRUTH HURTS!

I used for years (20+) and myself and the large group of friends and associates I used with almost to the last man or women would drive stoned. If you are an honest man I would wager that you yourself if a user drive stoned. While I am not sure were I weigh in on Leaglization, I am pretty sure that the reason we dont have a lot of DWI for pot is that it is difficult to prove not that it isn't happening. I see your point about the hypocrasi (sp?)of legalized alcohol vs pot. I just don't think there is anyway to really understand the impact of legalized pot on are community/society. I am nervous that if California is the only state to legalize it that we might attracted people from other states that we don't neccesarily want in our community. That being said I think we are about to find out in November what happens when you leaglize pot.

Today in Santa Cruz. A friend helped a friend. A man visted elderly in nursing homes. Someone fed a hungry person. A family donated Money, food, time, household goods to help others. The news will alway report on the bad stuff first. If you are sick and tired find an outlet live like Christ or Ghandi or Mother Theresa. If all you do is look for the negative you are sure to find it. Be part of the solution. There is an old saying WHEN THE GOING GETS TUFF THE TUFF GET GOING. I don't think they ment going out of town.

Tuff? have you attended school at all? It's spelled TOUGH and you probably went to the same Santa Cruz schools where the aforementioned police officer should have spent more time on his education.
My husband and I are doing all we can to make sure our two grown children do not, after college, come back here to reside...we want our grandchildren NOT exposed to drugs, crime and poor educational programs as currently offered in our local school systems.
And, yes, you ARE correct about the good taking a back seat to the bad...my point is there is just TOO MUCH BAD here in Santa Cruz!
