This is not a protest but a farce. They are using a protest as a false pretense to try and justify their lodging in a place of convenience located next to downtown, proximately to where they like to hang out. When this place becomes to uncomfortable they will be back out in the trees.

Someone had to say it, even though I subject myself to a liberal lynching....or being dragged behind a Prius.

Definitely the smug exhaust...the traffic in Santa Cruz is too horrific to get up enough speed for liberals thugs to effectively kill someone with an opposing opinion.

And use flouridated water. That'll keep their liberal supporters away AND brighten the average bum's tooth! Win-win!

Gees, drunk drivers? Society is so hell bent on keeping pot illegal.Yet alcohol is accepted with open arms,it kills people every day in this country. When was the last,or first for that mater, time you heard of some one being killed by a person that was stoned? Most likely that drunk had prior convictions.Pathetic. TRUTH HURTS!

If the high school suspected gang activity, why didn't they alert the parents? They have a robot that calls about all kinds of stuff - couldn't it have called? This is a safety issue. Thanks for telling us after the fact. Thank goodness nothing happened.

"BUMS GO HOME!" T-shirts are starting to sound like a goldmine.

We could even use a dollar of every sale to contribute to bus fare out of county.

You know, there's not many legal campsites around, and my friends and I have been wanting to camp for quite some time now. Who thinks it's time to organize a non-protestant camping trip to City Hall? If the bums can get away with it, and the law is not applied equally to them as it would be the rest of us (those able to PAY tickets), why shouldn't EVERY citizen take advantage?

I wonder if Anchor Steam beer has flouride in it. Does San Francisco's tap water
have flouride in it?
