Why are you trying to get the dog out of the neighborhood, sounds like you need to get rid of the jerk who owns him. As for the puppy, call the Humaine society and report it, they will get the dog.

If you call the humane society on the jerk doing that to his dog, they will get the dog and charge the owner with animal cruelty. As far as pit bulls, they are not as dangerous as people think. The way the animal turns out is all on how the owner trains it. The jerk wit the puppy is training the pit to be mean. I have a pit and he is the sweetest animal. He is not mean,he doesn't attack or bite,he's just a big baby. There are other dogs/animals (not only pits) that are dangerous but then again,it is all in the way they are trained so don't go blaming the animals, blame the owners.

wen i first heard that mosinee wanted to get rid of pits in town i thought it was a great idea. i live in mosinee also and i know of ppl who are mean to their pits then i do know ppl who are nice to their pits. its all about how you raise your dog not the breed. its like saying mosinee is trying to get rid of black ppl cause they are said to be horrible. (im not racist my best friend is black. just trying to make a point) yes some ppl try to make their pit bulls mean and aggressive. but the pits i know are big babies and think they are lap dogs. but i do know of a guy who fed his pit gun powder and kicked his dog. and he got that dog taken away from him. any way i would just like to say that mosinee should not try to pass this law.

you are a better one than me...
where is the coomon sense/sympathetic heart?
seems to me like you are the one that is a monster.
how in the hell can you watch someone abuse a puppy and not do anything about it?
i would have beat the hell out of the man and called police and a.c. until something got done about it.
and you are blaming the puppy?
god, you are really ignorant.

i cant believe that someone would actually blame the breed of dog for faults. well, actually i can, cause there are so damn many people who are ignorant to the fact of "I am how I'm raised". Sure, pits just so happen to be one of the best fighters due to there body structure, weight, height and massively powerfull jaws and great muscle power. but then again they are one of the most obediant and lovable dogs out there. I have a rednose pit names simon and he is a "lap dog" that loves babies more than he loves me. all i have to say further is, to all you who have pit bulls and raised them right to love, thank you and god bless. and to all you chumps that raise them to fight and hate, I hope you fall off a cliff and die on impact!.

I currently own a 5 year old pit bull and also own an 11 lb Dorkie and have had no problem with the "viciousness" that people associate with pits. When I first got the Dorkie, the pit hid under tables and cowered, and yet there are people out there trying to ban them? RIDICULOUS! Any dog can "turn" at any time, and as others have posted, dogs end up the way you train them. In all actuality, they, like any other breed, simply want to please their owner. Pits are considered a horrible breed by some people b/c that is the breed people chose for fighting. But I have read MANY other stories of Goldens, German Shepards, Mastiffs etc. mauling children and infants. I can guarantee that if Mosinee does pass this ban, I will be bringing my pit bull every time I go there to visit family. No body will tell me what breed I am allowed to own because of other close minded people.

I also own a pit bull, she is a puppy, just turned one. Is the sweetest, smartest dog ever. Excellent with other dogs, cats, hamsters, kids and babies. The whole thing with Pitbulls being "vicous" goes back to them being raised and trained to go after small animals. it depends on how the owner trains the puppy. totally thinks shes a lap dog. didnt crop her ears or her tail cuz shes not a fighting dog. thats cruel, That would suck to get kicked out of your city because a certain animal that you own. anything could happen with any dog, any animal.

To "Power Ramam":
I think you must be one of the biggest idiots I've ever come across in my life! How you could simply watch all of this take place and then be so ridiculously stupid as to ask how to get this puppy out of your neighborhood. I mean seriously.. you've invented a whole new level of "idiot" here. Tell you what, I live in Mosinee too.. if you're too dumb to see that something needs to be done here, let me know where they live because I'd love to meet the jerk.

Hello, I think it's totally stupid to ban Pit bulls, do you realise that German Shepherds and Golden retrievers have more of a track record of bites than pitbulls??? Can't help it that JERKS like Mike Vick (who should be banned from NFL) do these types of things to this breed. People really need to understand the breed and realise ANY dog can be mean if they're brought up that way!! I volunteer at local humane societys and I have NEVER been bitten by a pit bull, I also used to work at a local dog salon and once again NEVER bit by a pitbull!!!! Get the facts right!!! REMEMBER: "Dogs most often make wonderful pets, however in certain circumstances, any type of dog can be dangerous. Even friendly dogs, can inflict great harm in the wrong circumstance. "
