It look's like everyone has already forgot Scotty!! I really can't believe it. Because it affected so many people when it happened. But now they only 'take up' for his POS mother. About Kerry, I hope he got what was coming to him every single day! He gave Scotty death, So why should he deserve any protection? I bet (I hope) there are some guards who work there that probably would uh,'look the other way' with prisoners like him. But I guess we will never know.I wonder when he get's out if he will have a lovely life like Tammy?

(Incidentally, my name really is Scotty)

"Taylor Danielle": If, indeed, Tammy Trexler Winstead is your "mom" (a term that I use very, very loosely), then the real shame is that she's afforded you the very things that she so obviously deprived little Scotty of: Love, Nurturing, PROTECTION, and a chance of a future. Instead of standing up and defending you mother, you should be on your knees in prayer several times per day thanking God that it was Scotty who was born in 1985 and suffered the abuse that your mother stood idly by and watched instead of you. You have much to be thankful for, but are far too immature to even realize it.

I encourage you to not live in anger of the past. Instead rejoice that Scotty has a new perfect body, and he stopped suffering that day in 1987.

You and others are obviously very passionate about your viewpoint of Tammy. Do you believe that the person someone is at 18 yo is the same person they will be the rest of their life? I don't.
Do you believe that through the blood of Jesus Christ even the worst of the worst can be saved and redeemed? I do.

Just something to ponder.

Even the worst of sins imaginable to mankind can be forgiven. However, even the Bible supports the statement that there are some scars that can nor will ever be erased during this lifetime.

There once was a boy who did nothing but get into trouble 24/7/365.

His dad grew tired of spanking him, because the spankings did nothing to alter the bad behavior.

Dad gets the idea to have the boy take a nail and drive it into the barn door each time he did something wrong. It didn't take long, the barn door was full from top to bottom with nails.

Dad decides to have the boy remove a nail each time he did something good.. It took way longer, but the boy eventually got down to the last nail. When he was ready to pull that last one out, he had his dad stand there to observe what once was thought impossible.

Standing back and feeling quite proud of himself, the boy suddenly realizes something and gets this downcast look on his face: The barn door was full of holes where the nails once were. He points this out to his dad.

His dad said "Son, this is what sin does to our lives. God can forgive the sin just like you removed the nails. But sometimes, the sin is so severe that it leaves ugly and life-lasting scars that you have to bear".

I firmly believe that, yes, God can forgive her for what was allowed to happen to an innocent and defenseless child. However, there are, and always will be, scars that she will have to bear for the remainder of her natural born life. And in the instance where an innocent, defenseless child died as a result of that, then this is justifiably so.

I've done things as a teen and as an adult that I'm ashamed of and wouldn't want anyone to ever find out about - but no human lives were affected, injured, or destroyed as a result of sins committed by me. I have my own scars and don't grumble one iota about having to bear them. However, if I did something that caused someone else injury or death, then I don't honestly feel that I'd have a right to complain about someone remembering or pointing out what I'd done (or didn't do) when the victim no loner has a voice than can be heard by mankind.

This is so true! Thank you for your words of wisdom and these words. NOW if this family would only see what we see... But that is a wish that will never come true with all the lies covering up Scottys death. Tammy Trexler Winstead needs to come clean, at least, with her own daughter!!

There is a reason people cannot forget him, and why there is a law named for the child (a baby, actually) who was a victim of such a senseless, brutal death.

If anyone is relying on hearsay, perhaps they should read the online court documents from the Bowers trial. Be sure to read the testimony from the psychologist who assessed the mother.

I am just remembering Scotty.

I do not have to work tomorrow.... my sweet little Grandson is coming for a visit.... I have ice cream in the frig and apples and bananas ready to be cut for fruit to go with his cheese sandwiches. Also have his favorite. Cheetos... We are going to run around the house,,, the yard... and play with the water hose. LIFE

My point is THIS: Tammy ..... never forget.
Not only did you rob this child of safety... you robbed him of a future. Man... you must have been smoking some funkyweed. When I was eighteen I did that too..... but never so high as to let my child be abused.

According to transcripts.... her child's latest words were.... moma.... I am hungry. Dang girl...... Otis would have let you steal a roll... Dang dang and dang....

How the hell did you go to sleep with a rat that your own child shrilled at??? Dang... Your moma and Daddy

Maybe that is what you need to post.... providing they were dumb.... blame it on your parents... that is what most people do..

until then.... moma I want a cheese sandwich

Never Forget.

Today I cooked my child a cheese sandwich... some strawberries.... and a glass of milk. Then we had a water fight.... ole time water fight with the water hose.... fun facts...

This was not the life of an abused child.

No child should shutter when an adult enters the room. That is a Fact .
