Lived in Satanta in the early 80s there was a bar called fencepost, I think. Run by I think, Jim and Nancy. Is it still there and how are they doing?

last time i was in satanta i didnt see a bar. that really good pizza place is still there though. other than that they have a liquor store thats ran by an older couple. perhaps that is them?

they can sell liquor in Haskel county now?!!! Whats this world coming to.[lol] always had to go to Usless, or Houghtuffton for the hard stuff.

the liquor store in Satanta is called 2 Bags Brew and they are open 1-8 on Sundays. There is only one bar in Satanta and it's called Fran's Lounge.

thanks glenda. only thing i go to satanta for is a pizza every now and then so i dont really spend to much time there. too small for my tastes personally.

Thanks for the info. The old bar was next to Helton's Clothing I think. When I was there in 76' there was a bar across the street and just north of Hornsbeys Pharm. Dorthy worked there and I think maybe Fran owened that then. I know I said Jim and Nancy but Fran sounds right.
