Every place the chief worked said he caused
"Issues", that was being kind!
The truth is coming out in court and all over town. Citizens are banning together, finally!
It's only a matter of alittle time now!
One step at a time!
Obedience to the law is liberty, whether you have a badge or a normal citizen!!!

A Blanchester man was indicted by a recent Clinton County grand jury on one count of theft and two counts of forgery.
Russell W. Hall, 24, whose last known address was 106 E. Main St., Blanchester, is charged with the theft of several checks from the home of Steven Ottesen of 111 W. Baldwin St., Blanchester, on May 23.
Later that day, the National Bank & Trust Company, 125 W. Main St., Blanchester, contacted the Blanchester Police Department and reported that someone was in the bank attempting to cash one of Ottesen’s stolen checks, said Blanchester Police Chief Scott Reinbolt.“The man fled prior to police arriving, but was later identified as Russell W. Hall …,” Reinbolt said.
“The subsequent investigation led police to the First National Bank, 121 E. Main St., Blanchester, where they learned that a man had cashed one of Ottesen’s stolen checks at their bank on May 21, 2008,” Reinbolt said.“That man was also identified as Russell Hall.”
The police chief said the information gathered during the investigation was submitted to Assistant Clinton County Prosecuting Attorney Rick Moyer by the investigating officer, Ptl. Rob Miller, and the case was presented to the Clinton County Grand Jury in July. An indictment was returned charging Hall with one count of theft and two counts of forgery, all fifth degree felonies.
“Hall, who was on the lam at the time the indictment was returned, was recently arrested in rural Clinton County by Clinton County Deputies Sheriff,” Reinbolt said.

Man, putting this on here only makes him look MORE stupid. How hard would this case have been, someone reported checks stolen, they knew who did it, the guy went to the bank and tried to cash the checks, the bank called the police, WHAT IS THE BIG DEAL ABOUT GOING TO THE TROUBLE OF TYPING THIS UP??? PLEASE TELL ME!!!
Anyway, he was arrested by the "CLINTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPT", not Reinbolt!!!!!

I believe strongly that a peaceful and pleasant community is achieved by a proactive police department that has the common sense to recognize which problems it can solve, then making a genuine effort to solve those problems. It is our goal to provide a meaningful response to reported crime, taking the time to fully investigate and establish the facts of the case, then making arrests that will result in conviction in our courts. I asked our officers to treat every citizen as a neighbor. I hope that we meet that expectation. If we don’t, let me know.

Ok, we are letting you know that you or none of the officers treat the citizens with respect!!!

"Has the common sense to recognize which problems it can solve"<<<does that mean the ones you know you can't solve you just forget about and refuse to make reports??

Mr. Mayor lied to some of the citizens before the election. He told them that the first thing he was going to do when he took office was to get rid of the chief to get thier votes. What does the chief have on Mr. Mayor or is Mr. Mayor just so scared of his own shadow that he's afraid to look behind him. I'll bet that if Mr. Mayor would run today, he wouldn't get a tenth of the votes he got when he was elected. Mr. Mayor is sitting our town up for all kinds of law suits and all he does is walk down the streets smiling and waving. My opinion is that he should really enjoy this term of being Mayor, because he WILL NOT be re-elected. He's showing his track record and his lies will not fool the people next time around.

I have heard that the Blan football team went to a football camp last week and their behavioral was so bad that they were brought home early and asked to never return. A couple freshmen were hazed so badly by some upper classmates (their own team mates) that one of them ended up in the hospital because he was beaten so badly by 4 teammates. If anyone has heard about this please shed some light.

The Mayor, Mr Hollon, when he was a council man never opposed or questioned any issue that came up in reguards to the Chief of Police. On several occasion even when our village solicitor would explain what by law was the correct way to handle the issues, moments later when Mr Hollon was asked the same question his response was that he didnt know. Now in my mind Mr Hollon either wasnt listening or couldnt comprehend the question or answer given by the solicitor. If someone cant make an informed decision on there own and has to look to others and do as they do then you have yourselfs a follower, and our Mayor is a follower not a leader. He is the same man today that he was while sitting on council. I also understand that the Hollon name has carried him thru out most of his life, however its what that man stands for and not a name that is the most important. Some times you have to look a little further than just a name. The greatest achievements are those that benefit not ourselves, but others !

Why, for such a small town do we have so much drugs and thieves. Of course, drugs leads to thieves. The chief has how many policemen and wants to hire more. My question is what do they do. We know they do not write reports. We also know that they race thru our town all day and night long. Running so fast, as if they are going to a fire. I believe Refugee that the thief you speak of last week, the home owner actually caught the person with his own in home camera. And was let loose immediately because of some paper work technicality. Why are we paying money for a police department, when the clinton county are the ones we call, they are the ones that make a large percentage of our arrest. Let's either get rid of the police department and let the sheriffs department do the work, which they already do the majority of it or let the people vote on who they want to be their police chief. That way we know the person who is suppost to be protecting the citizens. They have their families here to protect and their reputations. Blanchester has had so much termoil with hiring chiefs from outside of our community, except for Rose. He was a good man.

Call the blanchester police department and ask to speak with the chief, since he pretends to be on top of everything and let him tell you "WHAT'S YOUR BEEF"? No one has heard anything about that. Carol, I ask a parent that has a son on the team and she said it didn't happen.

Hey Doug, I have spoke with some parents who have kids on the team and they say it was a bad scene. Just asking, what would the Blan Police have to do with it beings it happened in Kentucky. I really dont know how the legal system works when it would come to something like this. The parents whose kids that are supposed to be involved are not talking. I was just wondering if anyone had heard. Oh, my name is not Carol, but I think I know who you are referring to, A certain council member.
