Police Department Complaints

Just out of curiosity, Does anyone that hasn't broken the law over and over in the town of Goshen have anything bad to say about the police department? It seems like every time someone gets in trouble, or "Breaks the Law" the Goshen police department is ran through the mud.
Just like any other town, the ones who break the law complain and complain and complain.. and I am sure the cops sit back, read posts like this in many communities and just laugh until they can't laugh now more.
I am not a cop and I am not even from the town of Goshen but I know those who are. And I have to admit.. I must not know too many people from Goshen personally that get in trouble because those ones I do know don't seem to have any issues with the Police Department.
Can someone reply with something positive that you may know of that a Goshen Police office has done?

Exactly right. I heard this same nonsense about Blanchester Police, yet I have lived here my whole life and have never had an issue with them. Usually, in my opinion, the only ones that write all this nonsense are the druggies and thieves that are out at 3am, up to no good, and they question why the police are messing with them. I say to the Blan PD and the Goshen PD, keep on doing what your doing and busting these people, searching them, and running them out of our communities.

So in short "Unknown" is exactly right.

if you know all of the druggies around breaking the laws that you say they are doing at 3 AM in the morning, why don't you follow them around and report them? That way you can write a nice story whenever they pull them over and do their job. It's a real shame when 52% of polled Americans would rather take the law into their own hands than depend on their own police. That speaks volumes to me. The only police officers that the mayor wants working in their department are ones that they can control and manipulate to do whatever they ask them to do. Most cops are dirty to the core, that's what Americans say!!

Do I believe you are right when you say there are dirty cops? Absolutely I agree. I also believe that there are good cops. Do I believe that there are cops out there that take their Authority and use it to their advantage? Absolutely. But once again there are cops that also help enforce the law which we are expected to live by. They don't make these laws up. My point for this post was I can bet you that all the bashing you hear take place about the police department is from someone who has obviously been in trouble before because they "Broke the law". And Americans taking the law into their own hands. I would love to see how many people in that pole have also been in trouble with the law. I suggest taking a ride along with a police officer some time. Just see a little bit of the stupid shit they have to put up with. Example.. I am sure there is a person that has received a DUI. Of course they will tell you over and over again they did not feel drunk and they were just fine to drive. In their minds the cops were just out to get them. Or you flip the situation. That same person was driving down st. route 28 lets say and hit a car head on and killed one of your family members. Everyone in your family all of a sudden wants to know where the cops were? How could no one see him driving down 28 going left of center? The person they pulled over out of suspicion. Ok they were pulled over and nothing was found. That person might be a little upset because their time was wasted. I was that person one time coming home from work. Old beat up car I drove back and forth and it was about 2am in the morning. I was a little upset at the time. Now what if that cop pulled someone over in suspicion and found drugs that was going to be used to sell to your kids at HS the next day. Thank You Officer would be in order I would expect. Or maybe that is just my line of thinking.

Take Mr. Matt the policeman. The only one he can manhandle is a women by picking them up and levitating them and bodyslamming them to the ground so hard that he busts their head open to where they have to go get stitches. What a man! Then, according to her, she gets summoned to the police department to apologize, of course I'm sure it was all on tape, just so they could cover their own tracks from my lawsuit which is way overdue for that town. They don't like it when you record them, but they love to record you, box you in a corner and go with it when they are out right criminals on and off duty!

Then comes and goes to work whenever he pleases on no set schedule, but then again he's just following the example that is said and allowed by the administrations. To allow someone to drive a brand-new $50,000 Cruiser 50 miles one way to work, says how much the administration cares about the less fortunate people and Morrow and the taxes that they pay. Morrow is trying to become like a big city by hiring and paying big salaries to family and friends and they think the public is not watching, I'm watching real close.
This town is no different than any other town across America, where there is government there is corruption, criminal activity and lots of greed! These are the statistics not my words. Of course I can cite examples and if you get me going, I will certainly lay it out for for you. When you have employees they cannot pass drug test and nothing happens? What does that tell you? Just look who is running things and who sits on the council and works for the town, it's all family and associations and friends. I know for fact and hope that someone gets offended and subpoenas me, that this involved drug activity and it is well-known with some and hidden to most. Have a nice day!

I have no use for Goshen Police. I was bit by a dog as I was walking by a house(it came out of a yard and then ran back in) and Goshen Police degraded me SO BAD and made me feel like I was a 5 year old instead of a 54 yr old woman! They honestly TRIED to tell me that I could no longer walk by that house unless I walked IN THE ROAD! There was no sidewalks and it was on a very busy curvy part of Goshen road. The Chief of Police actually told me that "I could have someone arrested, if they stepped ONE INCH in my yard"!! WRONG!!! There is such thing called "right of way" and he should have known that before making it seem like I was the one in the wrong instead of the VICIOUS DOG owners!! There were about 4 officers that treated me bad and had ME feeling like a criminal for well over 2 weeks! Finally The chief of Police called me back and mumbled that I had a "right away"!! This whole ordeal left a very bad taste in my mouth when it comes to Goshen Police Department!! The only officer that I dealt with that even KNEW the LAW (including the Chief) was the Dog Warden!! Hard to believe!!!! I agree!!!! Think for yourself, question authority........Is now my motto! The police ARE NOT always right!

It still upsets me just to think about it! They talked so mean and degrading to me and had me in tears more than once! And while I'm on the subject.... What about the money and other items that came up missing from the evidence room? That's some good cops we got there!!!!!

In an ideal world, cops would do nothing except protect people from thieves and attackers, in which case shooting a cop would never be justified. In the real world, however, far more injustice, violence, torture, theft, and outright murder has been committed IN THE NAME of “law enforcement,” than has been committed in spite of it.

Those who are proud to be “law-abiding” don’t like to hear this, and don’t like to think about this, but what’s the alternative? If you do NOT have the right to forcibly resist injustice–even if the injustice is called “law”–that logically implies that you have an obligation to allow “government” agents to do absolutely anything they want to you, your home, your family, and so on.

When those violently victimizing the innocent have badges, become a cop-killer.

Well, a Goshen cop or two probably stole $18,000 from the evidence room. Other things missing are drugs, computers, and cell phones I think. They have at least a couple crooked cops like all departments. Should just get the county to take over policing.
