I have a one bedroom section 8 voucher, and I would like to transfer it to Georgia . I'm open to ideas on a specific area although I would love to move in or around Atlanta. Also if there is anyone who has had any horror stories with the housing authority systems down there please share. I'm blessed to have been able to have this so I want to use it right. I'm wanting an area where I can go to finish college . I'm not tryna live in the Hood but I can't be to picky lets just say I want to live in peace and stay alive. I'm from the Midwest but I've lived in the south before and I love it. Are there any specifics I need to know be for I make the move. Please don't comment if you know your answer is irrelevant to this topic.

Yes, stay home with your parents, finish high school, then summer school for additional spelling and grammar lessons. Return that voucher so someone who really needs it can use it.

If you are determined to get out of Illinois, try Sea Island, GA. Request or demand an ocean Section 8 housing unit, you will like the weather and ocean view. If this doesn't fit your taste try Tuxedo Road in Atlanta or if you like golf, you might want a section 8 cottage at the B. Jones course in Augusta, GA. Glad I could be helpful.

BTW, Gen. Lee is not a nut case, he is a tax payer who is tired of providing no cost housing, welfare, and EBT cards to deadbeats.

Kind sir, thank you, but might I add, the devastating decrease in property values, primarily due to the decrease in the government school scoring, directly resulting from the increase in section 8 vouchers, wherever they are accepted.

Me, a nutcase, if you only new. It is just sad to see young people depending on the dole, before they even start their lives.

Hey Gen. Sir, let him report back to us about how successful he was at acquiring Section 8 housing at the places I mentioned.

It will be interesting, but it is likely no response or update will follow, just an exercise in playing the race card baiting and fishing game.

LOL wow how hard is it to stay on the actual topic.@lighterlame screw your info on those locations it wasn't that clever. I'm not using the the government anymore than its used me. I've worked many jobs and I pay into the system as well. I'm simply trying to utilize this program to put my self through school. Not all of us have trust funds. I've worked and gone to school before but it became to much. I don't really care what you're opinion is about it I consider this a blessing. I posted for help not for a piece of your bitter minds. If u don't like my use of grammer or spelling screw you as well. REALLY!

Great advice. I would also tell him to get the hell off of the computer and look for a job. If he has one, look for a 2nd.

Great plan, as long as the job is in Chicago.

If you consider Section 8 a blessing you are a true deadbeat. You would do well to enhance your communication skills and find a job. You are correct, I don't like incorrect grammar and poor usage of standardize English, it doesn't promote good communication. Your claim that I live off a trust is misguided and incorrect as the rest of your post. I live off my income, not the income of others as do you. My farms produce food for America and jobs for others. What are you producing other than babble filled with hatred? Did you find any Section 8 housing on that Tuxedo Road address?

All of you welfare and Section 8 deadbeats wanting to move to Georgia might want to change your mind. The governor of Georgia today signed a bill requiring anyone wanting welfare to pass and pay for a drug test.

I would like to see the government do away with housing assistance and begin "Poor Houses" and "Poor Farms" like existed in the early 1900's. Resident's of these places lived a life without luxuries, and were required to earn their room and board by working at these facilities,

So I guess "tryna" is a way to express "trying to"? I'll get this advanced new language down some day I guess.

And now for the new math, government indoctrination will have "some" people believing that the gross can me multiplied by division.

Have you noticed that they say "goot" instead of good
And they say "axed" instead of asked?

Dont move to any of the places the previous posters are from.Com e to NYC where people arent as delighted in returning to the 1900s. I guess slavery days was the best era in those southern states. Its clear that only some forms of assistance or welfare are acceptable to these people. The ones that benefit them..maybe the ones given to farmers? Oh right that financial assistance doesnt count. As a life long NYer I find the conyers, social circle and convington area nice. Good luck to you; hope you have already found suitable living arraingements for school.
